"Soundtrack not as good as Skyrim and Oblivions" Wow....that's certainly an opinion.

😅😅 I remember casting a calm spell on Dagoth Gilvoth and when I talked to him he said "I'm not here to talk. I'm here to touch you. I'm a freak."

I tried to play this game when I was in high school and it was so tuff. I remember I did a fighters guild quest were all I had to do was go into this person house and kill 2 rats but I struggled so hard to kill them. I was just standing on a table try to avoid they’re attacks while stabbing them with a dagger. Despite how hard it was though something about it held my interest. I liked how it felt like I had to pay attention to the npcs directions. Like I remember the first time I followed an npcs directions to a cave for a quest it felt so much better finding it because I didn’t have a quest marker to locate it. I used to look up guides on how to play the game so I could play through it. It truly is a good game from what I can tell and I need to try and play through it at some point but with better knowledge going in and a note book just for the game lol.

As a kid ive got the game within a game magazine, (i think it was Gamestar) and i saw the disc, it looked cool, so ive installed it. I remember the exact moment when i stepped out of the boat in Seyda Neen. The music hits you. And i thought this is the best game ever. Ive probably spent hundreds of hours throughout the years, exploring and experiencing the game. And that English is my second language, growing up ive understood more and more of the game. Every Morrowind playthrough feels like a "life"-to me weirdly enough. Its really a game from, another time. Its a world, and it means it. You figure it out by yourself. Plus the mod support is pretty great for a game thats....22 years old. (dear god) Theres just a "magic" in games that you are not special in. You are not a hero, no dragonborn, you are a nobody. Make yourself some fame or infamy, its up to you.

This game is more addicting than moon sugar.

The only thing missing in Morrowind is a dodge animation and a miss animation to better telegraph what goes on. What i still love about this game is that if you attack a character in glass, ebony or dremora armor.. you will die imidietly as a low level character... it make sense that a prince/noble etc. Whom has been taught combat all his/her life will woop your ass.... and Being able to take them on late game. Now thats satisfying.

I can't say I agree with you on the soundtrack, but this is a really good video. In particular, I loved your Narnia analogy. That's what it has always been like for me; playing Morrowind feels more like stepping into a magical portal than it does playing a game. I first picked it up shortly after release way back in 2002, and it's still the Elderscrolls title I come back to (albeit, heavily modded); essentially, it's "home."

Great video! I see that I have the exact same taste as you when it comes to games, so I can't wait to see your other videos as well.

You can resize the map and then pin it on your screen so it still on even when you are not pausing.

You know, you can pin the menu objects to be permanently on the screen, like the map, it's the first thing I do and yeah it sometimes goes to walking looking only at minimap. But yeah, just pin the map on the right corner of the screen when you want. Without the map some more places are really hard to navigate and see where you haven't searched yet.

Honesty the only two games that actually makes me a part of the world of it is both Vampire the masquerade bloodlines And morrowind And finally sinking city

Does Morrowind have enemy scaling issues like Oblivion? Where you can level up skills etc in the wrong order such that there are enemies you literally cannot kill because they out level you ?
