At ReDriven, we’ll be taking you through the pros and cons of a huge range of used cars to see how well they’re going now that they’re a few years old, have thousands of kilometres on the clock, and are coming toward the end of their warranty, or maybe don’t have one at all.

Plus, thanks to our resident mechanic, Jim, you’ll find out what commonly goes wrong with them and what might need to be fixed.

Most importantly, we want to make ReDriven a voice for the most in-the-know used car experts there are...you guys.. See, you’re the ones that actually buy, live with, love and sometimes unfortunately hate the cars we’ll be reviewing.

So we want to hear your thoughts. Hit us up in the comments, or on Instagram and Facebook.

We’d love nothing more than for you to give us as much feedback as possible, so we can make this channel the best it can be.

  • Firstly, Ill fess up and say that this is my car that was reviewed. Always a little scary when your being judged; however this was a pretty spot on and an independent review. great work ReDriven and a pleasure meeting up with you guys. Keep up the great work. Ill even let you guys review my Porsche, when I get one.
  • I’ve been subscribed for nearly 2 years now, and i can’t believe how fast you guys are growing this year! Keep up the good work. You deserve over a million subscribers.

I recently replaced my old Nissan Navara with a 2018 Santa Fe Active 2.2L diesel. I'm loving it. It's a great daily commute to work and when the seats are folded down there's heaps of space to pack my camping gear in. It also tows my forward fold camper trailer really well. There's a slight rattle in the left front door speaker which I'll check out one day. And I thank you for the reminder to check the oil more frequently than I do. It's still under 70000km so still looks and drives like new.
  • Bought a 2014 2.2l diesel highlander in 2019 with 155k km on the clock. Now on 215k km. Great cars. Only thing that happened was the AC evaporator broke which required a $1500 repair (due to paying dealer price parts as Covid had shortage of generics). Other than that it’s been standard $200-300 services. They do exactly as you want then to. They are not a proper 4x4 SUV like a prado, but do 99% of yet job in waaaay more comfort for most people’s everyday driving. I’ll drive mine as the family car til it dies, which will hopefully be for many more years.
  • Just read the article in the Newcastle Herald about you guys. Had no idea you were in Newy! High five from Eleebana. Your channel has become one of my favourites in recent months. Keep up the awesome work, you’ve carved out a great niche & are totally owning it with just extremely good content. Bravo fellas! 🎉
  • Had the previous version Santa Fe 2.2 - Bulletproof. Harmonic balancer went at about 150k - about $500 to fix. Moved on at 190ks no other issues. Have one of the last UM Sorentos - 2.2 and no issues there either other than a recall.
  • @auswhofan
excellent vid, I love the plain speaking and lack of bias
  • Bloody hell I can't believe I missed the Bad Santa reference. Gold!

As a Korean Australian subscriber, I was really surprised when I heard the Korean voice-over. Thanks for your effort 😊
  • Thanks so much for this gents...I absolutely loved the Santa Fe I drove for a while as a work vehicle...but when it came to buying the 2013 AWD Diesel or 2013 AWD Kluger..I took the Kluger...your two videos have enabled me to feel like I made the right decision
  • @Choasturk
South Korean Christmas safety video = life completed
  • That index finger ring, really accentuates your pointing finger and the stuff you point at! Very cute🤦🏻‍♂️😜
  • Alrighty we've owned this car from new 2016 facelift Highlander, replaced with the current Sorrento but it's still in the family and have now done closing in on 290k. Things that has went wrong but was warranty with zero fuss by the dealer. Sunroof struggled to close because we barely used it and it was replaced. Driver seat wasn't sliding forward. EPB failure. Also the diesel were never fitted with DPF which is awesome. The sticker at the top of the engine cover stated this. Overall it's a great car and still is. I don't like driving it personally but it's the Mrs car so if she likes it, it is what it is. The Santa Fe had an easy life with our family of 3 plus a dog. Always garaged, serviced, driven sensibly, checked over on a weekly basis.

LOVE THE MECHANIC GUY MAN SO GOOD
  • @305abyss
Notification Squad. As soon as we were out early at work I knew exactly where to go. The Santa Fe is one of those cars that I have a soft spot for. Hahaha until fuel consumption. I'm sure though to all those who buy it fuel is no problem
  • While Toyota, Mazda and Lexus are probably better than the Santa Fe I'd say a Santa Fe is probably more reliable and cheaper to maintain than its European or American counterparts. The safety overview made me think it was going to transition into a South Korea cartoon lol 😂 Didn't expect this to be the review for today's video but it was still in the same geographical region as the one I thought it might of been Good work as always gents and as always have a good weekend and look forward to next week's videos with gusto 👍

    ReDriven : Hyundai Veracruz AKA ix55 (2006–2015) was their largest SUV measuring 4,840 m (l) x 1,970 m (w) x 1,810 m (h), weighing 2115 kg.
  • I've seen these pop up as potential reliable towing vehicles. I've been looking into a towing vehicle that's comfortable as a daily driver and reliable, and preferably under $15,000. Would be cool for you guys to do another list of towing vehicles!
