A spokesperson for the Animal Care Centers of New York City told PIX11 they are overcrowded with dogs, and need more New Yorkers to adopt.

And I'm sure the plummeting adoption rate has nothing to do with the astonishing number of store-bought designer French bulldogs I see in my neighborhood.
