Matpat: I don’t wanna get disowned by the Italian part of my family Also Matpat: let’s add pineapple to the pizza based dish
  • @boopitybawp8493
9:25 Steph begrudgingly adding sauce while MatPat is happily infodumping about fnaf just off screen is the best thing ever
  • @Dark_Slayer3000
William: eats his sandvich Wallian Afton afterwards: I WILL PUT YOU BACK TOGETHER * proceeds to make another sandvich

It's funny that Santi's dishes looked delicious while matpat and Steph's looked like lore accurate food from Fnaf

I love how Santi almost feels like a second host in this video, it's so genius how they're trying to smoothly get us used to the new hosts without removing Mat from the videos altogether, and it's working! Santi has blown it out of the park in this video and definitely will do great once he becomes the official host 😊

3:50 You forgot option 3: Choosing recepeis straight out of the franchise's world. I am kind of amazed; we pretty much never got an episode where you tried to cook crabby patties or something.

A friend of mine used to work at Starbucks, and something she would do would be to make up custom frappuccinos based on characters or celebrities we liked. I always loved it, not just because the results were usually tasty, but also because it was just a lot of fun hearing her reasoning for why she included which flavors. This reminds me a lot of that, and I'd definitely love to see more! As a suggestion, maybe... a recipe representing each of the Theory channels?
  • This, my friends, marks the end of an era. We'll truly miss you MatPat, and that is not just a theory.
  • @mirak1934
No way I just went to sleep crying about my childhood creator finally ending his career just to wake up the next minute about the FNAF Cookbook 💀. Classic MATPAT, safe to say we’re all gonna miss it. 😢

The way you guys interpret how IP cookbooks should be made is amazing! It feels so simple yet I'm not sure I've heard of anything like that existing. I'd honestly love to just see more of it in general! Be it FNAF, or something else, I'm here for it! Great work as always!

The Official Adventure Time Cookbook is apparently really good, as the framing device is of a regular cookbook Finn and his friends find that has several pages missing and so they each make custom recipes with their writing that incorporates their personalities and what kinds of food they like. It's not bad, I think.

He’s not just a YouTuber, he’s a dad of a child, and a father to all of us. Thank you Mat. We all love you.
  • @YahgohOG
You can't just drop a video and expect us not to cry after everything that happen, we gonna miss you man!
  • @Fazkrueger
I honestly want a sequel episode for this Food Theory! This is definitely worth a rewatch! We're gonna miss you, Mat Pat. Well done.
  • @asteria5089
I just wanna point out, the Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge cookbook is hands-down the BEST IP-based cookbook I’ve ever seen. Thematically appropriate, the dishes look cool, and the recipes are all actually pretty good. Every IP cookbook should strive to be at that level.
  • @masterfrf
Eight more theories to go, but Santi seems to be very passionate and really an amazing part of Food Theory, and he'll make a great new host, even though we'll always miss MatPat.
  • @Athelasplants
You’ll be missed MatPat, thank you for all your theories and the impacts you’ve made on our lives (and ruining our childhoods lol) Edit: I’d like to see something similar done with a game like Poppy Playtime Edit 2: Thanks for all the likes!
  • This was such a fun episode. I’m not a chef, but my brother is and I would love to convince him to make these meals with me. It also feels like a great way to join Game Theory and Food Theory. And Santi did such a good job with his dishes, it feels like a crime not to see him make more
  • @Pemenari
honestly food theory fixing or making game/movie/character/show based cookbooks better could be a whole playlist. a friend of mine has the asterix and obelix cookbook and he was so dissapointed it had no wild boar recipies. (so if this channel would be willing to make such a recipe i would be really happy)
