  • That first one is literally a robot chicken! Chickens walk, run, but will also fly a bit to get over things, also they use their wings for quick direction changes when running.
  • That Dronut is unreal. Its going to feel like living in a sci-fi movie with those flying around
  • That was an awesome video. We really are living on the edge of amazing tech breakthroughs, just WOW!!
  • heck yeah i just subbed, that was new tech not clickbait , i didn't know people still show these kinda films you rock!
  • That Leonardo hybrid bipedal drone might have some real application in Mars landers. In the 70s I was on a ship designed to carry that V-bat, too bad we didn't have the technology back then. I can also see immediate tactical applications for the micro drone. We are getting close to that drone in the movie Lexx.

As a former military type guy I find the potential military application for nano drone swarms terrifying. We could have a 6 man reconnaissance team hiding out keeping an eye on the enemy only to be discovered and attacked by an nano drone swarm armed with micro munitions. The Dronut will be great for Law Enforcement and Fire Departments.

Why does this stuff look like stuff from every robot apocalypse movie ever?
  • The Dronut is awesome. Looks like a UFO or something from star wars. I wonder how noisy it is compared to other drones.
  • Orb Web Weaver Spider: "Those scientist must sneaking LSD into my web again...." 4:02
  • I think the thought of some people weaponizing the smaller drones is more worrisome than the ones with rocket launchers.
  • some of your payload could be relay drones that maintain position after detachment for communications
  • Appreciate the brief pithy overview. Will check out some links. Takeaway - without GPS, for military use. Oh, the times we live in, seldom bored. Those balloons! Elegant. The ion propulsion, such persistence rewarded in achieving the hopes of sci fi. Exciting times we live in. And privacy, if I was a rich man (cue Fiddler on the Roof) I'd pay for artists to spend some time performing interpretative dance toward intruding drones before opening a skeet shoot or releasing the birds of prey. I hope my few words of manually entered text influences the algorithm in your favour.
  • the robots are comming.. very fun video. all the stuff weve been waiting for.. and some with lidar! amazing..
  • The last one is definitely from the soda can propellers used in the movie Twister! 🌪 That, and those cool seeds that spiral around as they fall from their tree!
