It's heartening to see the Nigerian government supporting the Dangote refinery project, providing much-needed momentum for its success and numerous benefits for the nation. Aliko Dangote is a true Nigerian patriot who has invested heavily in our country's and Africa's future. Imagine the transformative impact if funds embezzled by past and current leaders had been invested in our nation's development! I deeply desire a better Nigeria, envisioning a nation where entrepreneurs like Dangote thrive. However, many lack trust in the government, hindering investment. To foster economic growth, the government must do more. May God bless and protect Dangote, and may God continue to bless and protect Nigeria and our brave service men and women.
  • He actually answered every question. To put it plainly, Ibrhami Torre is the living example of what every African nation must do in Nigeria case, the President doesn't have to be replaced, but Nigeria must stop stealing oil from themselves and review all contracts where they sell the oil and other raw materials to western nations for dirt cheap and manufacture and process everything in house to add value. In other words stop robbing yourselves and terminate all neo colonial.contracts with western countries.
  • It shall be well with you, Rufai. Let no one come and bambuz us here with stories that are not in tandem with current realities. How do you not refer to this current administration recklessness in spending, corruption and incentivness as not being BAD GOVERNANCE 😮 Common now.

There has to be avlot of political goodwill and dangote goodwill....May sanity prevail and not greed
  • In a country where a presidential aspirant asks a stupid question as "na statistics we go chop?" What do we expect? Now that the statistical reality is hitting home we are obliged to ask him, na emilokan we go chop?

Dangote Refinery will surely open ways for Nigeria refineries to work, some of the cabals wings will be broken.
  • I am glad that the blackmail and self destructive policies of NNPC have been laid to rest. Thereby allowing common sense to prevail. However, the next project is to allow rich Nigerians to invest in the electricity sector, and including states who are interested in electricity generation in the country. Because the country cannot develop without stable electricity supply. Therefore, the government must ensure that its policies should be towards implementing and encouraging local development of laudable projects in the country. Because it is only Nigerian citizens who can truly develop the country manufacturing sectors meaningfully. However, to achieve this objective the government must checkmate the endemic corruption in the country. This will help to prevent blackmail, fraud and false reporting. The unnecessary bottlenecks in the system should be addressed. I appreciate the government response to this impasse.
  • Nigerians must preach pride in owning their own national currency the Naira. They should work to be an exporter with less dependence on imports. This will build the middle class and strengthen their own currency
  • I am happy that the government has finally opened the door for Dangote to access Nigerian crude oil. Please, let's support our own industrialists in Nigeria. They are the ones that will transform Nigeria to new heights.
  • Oro ti pesije o oro di hun... God bless Fela Anikulapo Kuti. Rufai, that was a good punch to the jaw, you brought him out of gloating. Kudos man.

It is sad for Africa ! The like Atiku Abu live in Dubai another oil producing country way developed… And they don’t care to have a country like that. The government has looked very suspicious about this issue and their late catch up is because they were indirectly pressured morally.
  • The guest said it all and spoke my mind..Nigeria is an oil producing nation, sitting on billions of barrel of crude for God sake. This question where will the crude come from should not be a question.NNPCL and dangote can always build a new head,a pipeline that connect straight to the refineries. If Nigerian refineries starts working, where do NNPCL hope to get crude from then? There was a time Nigeria refined crude and still exported over 2 milion barrel per day. There are many wells that can be opened for local refineries, the crude is there in abundance to meet both export and local refineries.
  • Is he not Issa Aremu from Kwara state? If he is, I am so disappointed in him. I once watched an event that he had in his home state. I was shocked to see his huge mansion. I was disturbed about how a labour activist made so much money to be able to build such a mansion. And I am still asking how come labour leaders are so wealthy even though they pretend to be servants of workers. How do they make such money? Even at the local levels, labout leaders have mansions and a fleet of cars. Does this trend disturb any of you?
  • The fear of the protest is making the government think and act right. Nigerians should keep up the pressure so that they don't go back once they think the people have relaxed. BECAUSE THIS GOVERNMENT SAID THEY WERE GOING TO STREAM LI NE THE CIVIL SERVICE AND GOVERNMENT AGENCIES but once the people relaxed they are rather creating new ministries and agencies. KEEP THE PRESSURE
  • @mni5245
World Bank has given them the go-ahead to allow Dangote refinery work. I hope there are no other "strings" attached.
  • How about other three major refineries that are still deliberately left in a state of comatose and moribund? Those should make to function effectively alongside Dangote’s Refinery that is how a country should function. Why the emphasis on Dangote’s Refinery. Did Nigeria have Refinery before Dangote come on board? This government is not serious still!
  • If governments are paying 70.000 how much is bags of rice 🍚 their house rent and transportation in a month 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
