law runes were ABSOLUTELY 1k each in 04. i remember LAW running in world 66 for law runes and you'd sell them for 1k each that was a HUGE money maker in 04. world 66 law runecrafters were one of the first like "world tagged activities" i can remember.. the runecrafters wore full zammy robes. top and bottom and you'd trade them ESSENCE not PURE ESS, they'd give you the equivalent in law runes,run to draynor and repeat. all while sea shanty 2 was playing. i feel like world 66 law runners is a HUGE reason why sea shanty is such a nostalgic song because in 04 runescape as far as i remember you couldnt turn off the music so you were forced to listen to sea shanty 2 for hours while running law runes. but yeah 100% law runes were 1k. and running nature runes was 20k-25k a trip! EDIT: running laws and teleing camelot was PEAK magic XP training

I remember my friend back in 04(who had bought me an addy pl8 cuz he had just got the 32 qp for dragon slayer to get into the champs guild) suddenly vanished and was "offline" for like a year. Then one day he was suddenly on I was like woah bro haven't seen you ages you haven't been on in forever. He says "no I didn't quit, I've spent all this time runecrafting nature runes, I'm 99 runecrafting now. I'm rich, dude!" I was blown away he had d chain and like things I could only dream of lol.

Can't talk about nats in '04 without talking about the entire industry that was "essence running". I remember interacting with entire player run companies with hundreds of employees and managerial ranks, and even boards to run them, lmfao.
