Have you read the book “help at any cost” by chance? I think once you do you will understand why the Utah Gov. refuses to do anything. Thank you very much for taking the time to put this together.
  • @SinMelchiah
Wow...I was expecting this video to have million views and gazillion likes already. Thank you for shedding light on the matter I hope awareness spreads!
  • Absolutely disgusting, the fact that these schools weren't shut down, the fact it's become a for-profit business is disgusting. God I hope that police raid these places and shut them down, it's absolutely vile.

Thank you for shedding some light on this terrible industry! I am so thankful you and others are spreading awareness. I would love to see a follow up video on this regarding the WWASP programs.

This is so well put together. There are a few things I'd recommended looking further into. Staff must pass the background before working, standards set from the state for each program, how often state auditors visit a program, and who they interview while in the audit. I've worked in a few programs. In almost 20 yrs, i have been involved in 3 incidents where people were fighting or trying to take their lives. There are so many rules and regulations since the break the silence movement. I have to thank you for everyone participating because i have personally seen more humain and careing in the staff to youth relationships. This is making a difference. Do some digging, and you will see.

I really enjoyed this as a Cascade/CEDU survivor myself. Would you mind if I mirrored this on my channel and discussed it?

Best friend survived the hellish industry (with nightmares, PTSD, etc). I’ll show her this to see what she thinks as I loved the video.

I was in a program in 81-83 of course as always it was another spin off. When one shut down another opened, I was in the “L.I.F.E program in osprey fl. Most all of them use the same base some take on different methods but all the same. I tried talking about it for years and years it fell on deaf ears. I’m so happy it’s finally coming out
  • When it comes to teens, lookup Dr. Robert Epstein and his article "The Myth of the Teen Brain", and his book "Teen 2.0: Saving Our Children and Families from the Torment of Adolescence". Other authors that I suggest are Suparna Choudhury, Dr. Adriana Galvan, John Bruer, Dan Romer, Valerie F. Reyna, and Theodore D. Satterthwaite. Joseph Bronski is also an honorable mention.
