Just finished removing total Black Widow system from Tacoma. Your video made it so much easier. Thank you for this.

Really appreciate the video... just acquired a conversion van with a real mess of wires under the dash... whoever did the "install" was not a fan of neatness or wire ties at all.. its all just shoved in there.

Nicely done (more light!) ... :-) Thanks.

Thanks, but it needs more light to see what you're doing. Some places where too dark!

ok thanks for this, i was wondering how the heck to get those T-wire connectors off, but you just pulled the wire out and left them... these aftermarket alarms are super annoying!

I'd swear that was John Malkovich.

Hi! While changing out my 98 honda crv ignition switch, i discovered splices, relay, and connectors on my old ignition switch that goes toward my old unused alarm box. Can I disconnect and unhook the connectors on the ignition switch as well as connectors from the alarm to some other wires that seem to be connected or plug in to the cars without jeopardizing any of my regular car functions? The old aftermarket car alarm was disconnected long ago someways by previous mechanics. The mechanics allowed me to start my car without having to deal with starter kill issues, as well as switching from my electric door locks to manually operable ones. Do you think I need to reconnect any splices i pull apart to the new switch? Will I still have power to my horn once I plug in the new ignition switch, or do I need to rewire?
  • I just removed my yesterday, took all of 15 minutes. Locate and remove unplug the brain, remove the shock sensor and the booster antenna on the windshield.
  • Good video, But some areas, lighting is too dark, can't see what you're doing.

Thanks for the video, I took my car to have the aftermarket alarm removed, the place said they could removed it, however they could not reprogram a new fob so I can operate door and trunk, they told me I would have to go to the dealer to have the remote program, is this true ?
