  • Hello Dr. Stephens! Thank you for this timely review. I would love to be gifted with the ‘Sheer Joy’ sunscreen. As a fellow New Jerseryian and melanin rich woman it’s the perfect fit for me. Thank you in advance for the gift and as always for your informative and transforming skin tips 😉!

Sunscreen shouldn’t be a luxury that’s expensive and health it’s important
  • @Bianca2141761
You convinced me to start wearing sunscreen, lots of black people do not think we need it, but watching your videos encouraged me to start taking care of my skin and even led me to going into your practice. Would like to try the one by Doctor V because love supporting black owned.
  • Dr. Stephens your informations as well as Dr V literally saved my skin especially when you’re brown and there’s no one to guide you to a proper skincare. If I were to win the giveaway than I would definitely go for the Dr V sunscreen because I just love her.

You are the one person whose content I can relate to when it comes to sunscreen for women with color. I have extreme hyperpigmentation on my face and neck but after applying sunscreen religiously it’s getting a bit better. Slowly but improving for sure. I would love to try supergoop sunscreen as I’ve heard great things about it.

Hello Dr. Stephens, I recently discovered your channel about two weeks ago after one of your videos showed up in me recommended videos. I just want to sincerely thank you for the information you provide. I have suffered (and I use this work literally) from acne-prone skin and hyperpigmentation since I was young. The last time I had clear skin was in the 8th grade. 😩 After binge-watching many of your videos, I changed my entire skincare routine based on the info you provide and have noticed an IMMEDIATE positive difference. I still have a lot of dark spots on my skin but I know that will take time. Dr. Stephens, I can’t express my gratitude for all that you do. My skin has never felt so healthy and I am excited to SEE the long-term results (I began picture documenting my skin 😊). I’m just hear you express my gratitude 🙏🏽 I am a supporter for life.
  • Bergen sunscreen is the best! I have been using it for about 2 months now. It doesn't leave my skin oily, it's lightweight and it's Black woman owned. It was worth the $$.
  • My face and neck still darken/tan with while wearing sunscreen. I really need one that prevents the tanning, hyperpigmentation. I no longer care for the darker face/neck vs the rest of my body. It looks disconnected.
  • @toughchic6377
I cannot thank you enough for this! I felt trapped today because I wanted something without a tint and inzincable was appearing to be the only option but not the best for my oily skin and here you come to save me. Thank you so very much!
  • @bkhomegurl
Dr. B is the best doctor of any speciality I have ever had. She really cares about her patients. I miss going to her since she no longer takes insurance, but I will definitely be going to her office to purchase her sunscreen.
  • @amandapanda3750
I recently bought the MD Solar sunscreen. It blends in nicely with my skin tone and looks like foundation. However , it’s kinda pricey for the size tube it comes in. But otherwise a really nice product.
  • @monye9963
Dr Alexis your back, we're glad that you're blessing us with your presence again.
  • @redjezebelle25
Hi Dr Alexis . Love your channel . It's important we have young black doctors to educate us on our skin. Keep shinning. As far as the sunscreen I would like the 'sheer joy' sunscreen
  • @delfina1721
As someone whose skin finds all tinted sunscreens heavy and all non tinted ones to be ghostly, I’d definitely love to try out the one from Bergen derm. Thank you for this video. :)
  • @kalisworl
I am ecstatic that you’ve shared this non tinted mineral sunscreen that doesn’t leave a white cast. I have been wanting a mineral sunscreen soooo badly and thank you thank you thank you😭😭❤️❤️ it’s expensive but honestly take my money this is the product I’ve been looking for.

Hi Dr. Stephens, I’m absolutely ecstatic that I discovered your channel this year. For a melanin rich woman who is suffering with sun spots and melasma (I didn’t know what this was until I started watching your channel) it’s so refreshing the knowledge you are spreading. I’m now obsessed with trying to find the right sunscreen that works for myself that contains good ingredients. I would love if you could gift me the Dr. B sunscreen. Keep spreading the knowledge for women of color!!!!
  • @michaelaaryanna
I love your page Dr. Stephens! Between you and Doctor V I’ve been getting my skin care right on track. Love that these pages are available for us with skins of color. I would love Dr. V Inzincable or the Sheer Joy. They both look amazing
  • Dr. Stephen’s thank-you for the opportunity as well as your review. I am interested in either as I have wanted to try MD solar sciences but now interested in the sheer joy since it provides blue light protection. Thanks for always mentioning sensitive skin. You are appreciated!
  • @glocan
This is right on time! I have come to the realization that chemical sunscreens are making my hyperpigmentation worse 😖 I would be interested in the 2nd choice: Sheer Joy please🤗
  • @cannmyles
Thank you doctor for continuously looking out for our melanin rich color and pocketbooks! I am well over 60 and only recently started wearing sunscreen. I have really gotten into skin care and a good sunscreen has been one of my biggest challenges. Since I have oily skin I try not to add anything that makes it shine. The Sheer Joy may be the one I've been searching for. Thank you for what you do for our community of beauties!
