You tricked Corridor Crew into thinking it was really made in 1954. 👏👏👏

Got sent here by the Corridor Crew. Amazing work you've done, fantastic video. Your incredible work bamboozled Nico and Wren into thinking it was real stop-motion.

My favorite detail is that slight cut right before Gojira drops the train from his mouth. It just felt so authentic to the time. Incredible work. 1:46
  • The way the framerate slows down when he bites the train to mimic stop-motion... So much attention to detail!

I love the fact that in some scenes it looks like stop motion, and sometimes hand puppets and then back suitmation style The level of detail is just, even the flames look like they were hand painted! I love everything about this video Truly feels like a love letter to the original 1954 film

In Blender a free program. On a laptop. One guy. BRAVO! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Watching this on Corridor Crew had me questioning life, because I couldn't recall if the original Godzilla had stop motion or not, so I was going along with it so well. Excellent work!

Hands down one of the GREATEST takes on '54 Godzilla. The atmosphere is perfect!!
  • @DragonaxFilms
1:39 this is my favorite part. The stop-motion movement is EXACTLY like old monster films.
  • @therealtmac0001
Now THIS is creative CGI. I never would have dreamed of someone recreating this old style of stop motion in CGI but here we are. Masterpiece!
  • I love the stop-motion style you gave to this Godzilla. It's fitting because Gojira was originally gonna be in stop-motion
  • @bartoscar
Came here from Corridor Crew. Truly incredible!

1:41-1:42 Lol I love how Godzilla stops his rampage and looks at the train like “WTF is this thing?!” and then takes a bite then spits it out! 🤣

This has got to be one of the best pieces of fanmade Godzilla media I have ever seen on top of being one of the scariest depictions I've ever seen of the big guy along with feeling like I'm watching the original movie all over again. He appears 40 seconds in, but it's done so masterfully, he's as quiet as a cat in a manner where you wouldn't even know he's in the same space as you until it's too late. It's also really unnerving how real it feels in that it's just so authentic in its presentation. I love how the fire is as big as it would be if it was a man in a suit on a set and Godzilla's character animation just feels like Godzilla, being that you could forget that this was all made in Blender with how well every aspect of it was handled and the techniques taken to make this look like a live action film. I think what really sold me on this was your usage of THE Godzilla roar, the one that Shinagawa-Kun and MinusGoji used a lot, being saved for his regeneration at the end. It really felt as if he has gotten significantly stronger since they never used it in the original film outside of the opening credits. Another favorite thing about this that I wanna mention is his atomic breath, it looks as if it was made in the same way that they made it so long ago. In short: I love this because of how it pays its respects to the franchise in its presentation, bringing out a visceral feeling when watching it that hadn't been reached since the original.

Incredible! A brilliant love-letter the 1954 movie. It is what Eiji Tsuburaya dreamed of 70 years ago. He wanted a stop-motion animated Godzilla. Now you got it. Also, the combining between a man in a suit, stop-motion, and puppetry is purely brilliant.
  • @CC-zw9ku
I love how this design is more designed to look like shin Godzilla, scarier, more monstrous

This just reminded me of how great the original was and still is..to me, the best Godzilla movie ever made 😊
