Just finished this one today, and as today is Saturday, I thought, "Might as well upload it!" This is based on an old idea I had that "Diesel Does it Again" and "Thomas and the Evil Diesel" could be combined. Previous attempts to adapt the latter always overran the four-and-a-half minute mark but were too short to fill out a two-parter on its own, and as I like to make these as though they'd been made during the Classic Era, and the fact that I think "Diesel Does it Again" is one of the better magazine stories of Series 3, I set to work on this one. Plus, it means Duck plays a bigger role in the story, as opposed to the original where he was shoehorned into the beginning and has no interaction with Diesel.

    This leads me to wonder: Why didn't they adapt Thomas and the Evil Diesel for Series 3? I can understand why they couldn't adapt Gordon Goes Foreign or any of the Skarloey Railway stories (at least, at the time), but surely they could've adapted T&TED with some additional material based on magazine stories by Andrew Brenner? Not only would Christopher's stories be given more deserved recognition, but it could also serve as a really good redemption arc for Diesel instead of just making him the railway's playground bully like he was in Diesel Does It Again and most of his episodes after that.
