While I'm highschool I met a foreign exchange student from South Korea who's grandparents were defectives from North Korea. The things he told me that his grandparents went thru and had to do to get out of the country i will never forget

If my grandpa didn't get up and run to the south when Chinese tanks rolled into North Korea, I could probably tell you all about it. Instead, I ended up becoming an American due to my parents bringing me to America sometime in the early 80s.
