Bravo A&E.. You managed to tell us twice, in the first five minutes, that George Carlin was atheist.

Saw George front row mid to late 80s at Hampton Beach, best night of live entertainment I ever sat through.

One of my favorite comedians and I loved him as Mr. Conductor on Shining Time Station and the narrator of Thomas and Friends. George is the best! RIP

George had a great since of humor and making people laugh right out of their seats back in the 60s and 70s and 80s and 90s until his death

I love his takes on religion and how it manipulates ignorance

He was the professor of the counter culture generation. His philosophies and statements were ahead of his time, his views of police brutality, abortion, mass shootings, war, leadership (federal, state and local), the economy, religion, and even the false fundamental structures of both American history and culture. This man knew how to really master the art of words, and used it to his advantage. God bless (or in his words nothing to be blessed) Dr carlin, and his wife Brenda. Wherever they are in the cosmos, their legacy lives on

He could've sold out to the establishment and indulge in fame and riches. But decided to stand on his principles and his morals to speak about the establishment and how to not conform by the establishment, upon the usage of words. George Carlin was the professor

I wonder how he would handle today’s politics and these awful televangelists with their deep love of money and grifting their mostly poor, gullible and superstitious followers.
