Before thinking about money, focus on creating good videos. To succeed on YouTube, you must love what you create. This is where many fail—they don't enjoy their own videos, so why would anyone else? Start by choosing a niche you're passionate about. If you're unsure, list your strengths. Can you edit photos? Can you sing? Connect your strengths into a unique niche. For example, combine drawing and music into a fresh channel idea. Views and money will follow as you find your audience.
Even with a great niche, it's useless if you don't upload. Many creators hesitate, doubting their videos' quality or appeal. Just upload. Every video teaches you something—what your audience likes or dislikes. Learn from this feedback to refine your content.
You don't have to upload daily, but aim for at least once a week. Consistency matters. Choosing a niche you love helps because you'll enjoy creating videos, making it easier to stay consistent. Follow these steps—not just "How do I make money?" but "Doing what I love and earning from it."

Wow.. yea i been doing that but cause I am a animator it takes alot of time and I am just sick of this site telling me to rush a video out or risk not being seen. Then you got shorts, unless it is of something that is of parody it wont get really anywhere. So I dont know I for one aint going to stick to one genre. It gets old
