Just realized that the last line is saying "Parks and Recreation" and Isn't just random dog rabies noises
  • @denjias
“DUDE CHRIS PRATT IS MARIO” “…okay” “AND BOWSER IS JACK BLACK” “BOWSER IS WHAT???”
  • The problem with celebrities as VAs is that with the exception of a few cases, I'm not hearing the character, I'm hearing the celebrity.

I love how when he's running to find his son he starts making Mario noises.

“Chris Pratt is playing Mario in the Mario movie.” Said Sungwon calmly
  • @coolbrotherf127
I about died during the presentation when the only thing they had to say about Chris Pratt was "He's so cool."
  • One of the greatest things about pre-celebrity Disney films is the phenomenal and perfectly cast voice actors.
  • @the-engneer
Voice actors are so underrated. There are dozens of awesome voice actors (Including the guy who's actually been the voice of Mario in every Mario game). I hate Hollywood sometimes
  • @DerpsWithWolves
"The number one Mario movie of the century." is a great way to sound impressive, while still saying nothing.
  • @Qwade
I love how "Chris Pratt is Mario" sounds like it was made up for the skit for humour reasons, but it's real
  • There's only a small handful of movies where I think celebrities transcend their identity as a celebrity and actually become the character, and it basically exclusively happened to shrek, megamind, and Kung Fu Panda lol.

Actually laughed out loud, fantastic as always, I wish execs and producers understood just how many people prefer hearing actual professional voice actors instead of random celebrities delivering lines in their normal, boring ass voices, love your work sir x
  • The one good thing about the casting is seeing youtubers laugh their ass off at it.

“Starlord can eat my shorts” “Starlord was a SUPER SAIYAN!"
  • @PabbyPabbles
I like how they do it in Japan. When an ongoing, popular anime gets a live action movie, they usually do a thing where the live action star for the main character will play a small side role in the anime and advertise it a bit. Sometimes you even see a short "making of" where the movie actor does his best to match the quality of the voice acting, because both voice actors and live action actors are respected

ProZD screaming "Chris Pratt is Mario" has the same energy as him screaming "Aqua got Norted" lmao

  • In reality the reactions were just as intense as this, but filled with laughter that echo disappointment and confusion.
  • Funny thing is, this is LEGIT how my sister acts when she sees a familiar voice actor in a show or movie
