Throughout this video, you may have seen me sprinkle in some artwork of marvel characters that have a similar art style to the spectacular Spider-Man. These artworks were created by Sean Galloway, who was incredibly influential when it came to the art style of the series, so you can majorly credit him for being the most important artistic influence for the show. His contributions to the series artistic development however, also means that his illustrations of other marvel characters gives us a rough idea of how they'd look within the Spectacular Spider-Man universe. Although, it is worth noting that these aren't official work for the series and more made for fun or created for completely separate marvel projects. It's also important to note, that these designs in no way reflect how they’d look like if they did hypothetically appear in the series but they still give us a very loose look at the wider spectacular Spider-Man universe. my brain will remember everything from this video and completely forget everything i learned at school for an exam

It's quite depressing how we're never going to see this shared universe, I'm sure it would've been something special

4:49 The theme from the Avengers EMH intro always gives me goosebumps, how gorgeous it was.

We were really robbed of 3 whole Spectacular seasons. Darn.

Spectacular Spider-Man being a part of the yostverse will always be my headcanon

Iron Man: Armoured Adventures was doing something like that where they brought in more Marvel characters and kinda hinted at a possible Avengers team-up, but the show was cancelled/ended before a 3rd season was made.

I wonder how different Spectacular Spider-Man would be if it actually took place in the same world as Emh, Wolverine and the X-Men and some of the other marvel animated movies
  • I never knew this series was meant to have a connected universe though I do recall hearing rumors that there were plans to have the Human Torch cameo in one episode!
  • I thought it was fun to share this fact but in Spider man: the new animated series, it calls out that both iron man, the fantastic four and the xmen are in his universe, additionally micheal Clarke Duncan(who played kingpin in the 2003 daredevil movie) voiced the character in the show.
  • I see a lot of comments on this video of people saying they hope Spectacular Spider-Man gets a revival after the success of X-Men '97, and while I totally agree and would also love that, I unfortunately don't think that's likely. If anything I think it's more likely we'll be getting a revival of Spider-Man: The Animated Series since it's also from the '90s and even shares a universe with X-Men: The Animated Series and X-Men '97. Even that is unlikely though since the head of Marvel Animation stated that they're not currently interested in making more revivals and want to focus solely on X-Men '97, and will most likely bring in other characters from older series through cameos and guest appearances like the ones we got in the first season of X-Men '97. There's also the fact that Marvel Animation already has a Spider-Man show, "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man", in the works right now which is an alternate universe spin-off with ties to the MCU. I just don't see Marvel and Disney launching two complete different and totally separate Spider-Man shows at the same time like that, despite what fans want. As sad as it is, I just don't see Spectacular Spider-Man getting revived any time soon. I think the most we could realistically look forward to could be another guest appearance in the next Spider-Verse movie, although I would personally love it if Marvel would give us a continuation or tie-in comic book series.
  • We desperately need a Revival of Spectacular Spider-Man if the other Spidey shows are a huge Success which they will be.

I really dig the Idea of Spidey operating in a pre coexisting Marvel universe. It would pay as tribute to each characters debut in the Comics. Fantastic four= November, 1961 Ant-man=January, 1962 The Hulk= May, 1962 Spider-man=August, 1962 Thor= August, 1962 (a few weeks after Spidey) Ironman=March, 1963 The X-men= September, 1963 The Avengers= September, 1963
