“Once we found out people were losing their sight and dying from it we knew we had to taste it”

They're pretty good at pouring liquid into a small bottle without a funnel. That's how you know they really do this everyday
  • @YaritzaCorona
I’ve been recommended this video every year for 11 years
  • I love how they send the person that looks like the biggest lightweight of the century with glasses to try an alcohol that has the potential to make you blind.
  • @Spectrumpicture
"This is our driver" driver takes big swig of moonshine "Yep"
  • Am Ugandan and this video really brings out the truths about the alcohol consumption in Uganda. It's just that 70% of alcohol consumed is local brew especially from Banana and sorghum.More has to be done to sensitize folks against intake of alcohol

I love how he said that you only need half a liter of strong alcohol per head to get drunk. I'm Polish, I know how to drink, but even I know that's a lot of fucking alcohol per one person.

"It's not a vice party until something dies" is probably the best line in this entire episode

My favorite thing about the internet/social media is its allowed me to see countries and cultures I'll probably never get a chance to see myself.

Dude talking about "the youth can drink and we can still go about our daily activities" is asleep an hour later.

“This alcohol can causes blindness and death, with deadly chemicals. We knew we needed to try it.” Claps
  • Alcoholism aside, these folks served up some wholesome hospitality.

By far one of the best, if not the best African documentary out there.
