WHAT IS BRAIN EDUCATION TV?
Brain Education TV provides mental health and mental wellness videos to help young adults with loneliness, depression, and anxiety. The foundation of our content comes from Brain Education, an academic study from South Korea that stems from over 40 years of research and application and has been practiced by millions around the world.
WHY WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT MENTAL HEALTHā¦
We suffered from high-functioning loneliness and depression our whole lives. We lived different lives in different states, but when we met, we realized we were struggling with common issues that reflected an important problem in our young adult generation. We didnāt know who we were, what we were passionate about, what we should live for, and what direction our lives were āsupposedā to go. We spent a lot of time wandering in search of that magical āanswerā that will solve all problems (like Iām sure most of you are doing right now), and yet the further we searched outside, the more pronounced the emptiness inside of us felt.
Millions of people suffer silently from mental health related issues. Yet our society still places taboos around openly talking about relevant mental health topics like loneliness, depression, and anxiety. As a result, our young adults donāt know how to talk about it constructively, where to turn to, or what resources they have to combat this real-life threat to their wellbeing.
We credit Brain Education for giving us the courage to overcome our own mental health struggles and create the lives we want...and now we hope you can too through the videos we share on this channel.

As I was doing this for the first time, this idea popped into my head: "What if I watched these kind of videos instead of watching the daily news. " Stunning! Thank you for doing this for the world and doing it all with Love.

I have had severe constipation due to long term fight or flight stress caused by trauma. I did this routine and the very first time it helped me have a bowel movement. I will continue to do this while my body heals. Thanks you!!!

This is why cats purr when they are stressed out. Humming and chanting does the same thing.

Crying happy tears afterwards...there is hope for my anxiety. Amen ā¤

Clearly, you were looking in the windows of my childhood. It took me decades to admit to myself Iād been abused. It was just a few months ago that I was able to wrap my head around the idea (FACT) that my mom is a narcissist. Iām 60 years old. Iām finally finding my way to a sovereign Self. Thank you for this video. Itās one more step on my path to healing.

OMG. Iāve been having crippling anxiety nonstop just even around my house and figured it was a vagus nerve thing but had no idea it was this easy to relieve. Nothing has felt this good in months and months. Iām crossing my fingers that everyone going through the same thing finds this video. I love you all.
-
I'm definitely a fan! My anxiety attack raised my BP to 170/112 this evening. I watched the video and did the exercises for two sessions. Now my BP is 139/96. Thank you ā£ļø

Hello all, I just wish you share a short story. I had a successful lung operation, however when the rib cage was torn open to gain access to the pneumonia lung, all my nerves in that region had been disconnected . Five years later and this short exercise helped that area feel heaps better . I will continue this for comfort .

Of all the vagus nerve exercises and techniques that I have tried, THIS one actually prevented an arrhythmia attack last night that I get when I suddenly lose my breath! I immediately felt an expansion of my chest when I stuck my fingers into my BB --NO time for a warm up! This is super awesome! I'll be doing this multiple times per day to build up MEMORY in my body so that I stay in parasympathetic state more often. Thank you so much!!!

Thank you. Here are ways to stimulate your VAGUS nerve Alternate-nostril breathing Apply cold compresses to your face and the back of your neck Be quiet Breathe deeply and slowly Compliment others Connect with nature Diaphragmatic breathing, the slower the better Eat a whole-foods diet Exercise (within your ability/within your physicianās guidelines if you are being treated for upper cervical instability) Expose your skin to sunlight Have an attitude of gratitude Hum (such as a rhythmic Om) Laugh and giggle often Listen to calming instrumental music versus amped-up, heavy music Listen to music with uplifting, happy, grateful lyrics versus complaining, bitter, spiteful lyrics Sing (make a joyful noise!) Massage Meditate Nostril breathing (versus mouth breathing) Pray for your own healing and for others (including those who you may see as āenemiesā or ones who have hurt you) Reflexology Regularly move your body Say āthank youā Smile as much as possible Take probiotics or eat probiotic foods Visit with people who lift your spirit versus make you feel crummy

I came across this video 3 weeks ago and have been doing everyday since. This has changed my life! I was not able to eat without esophageal spasms and pains in my back for 2 months before starting this. I didn't even know what a Vagus nerve was. One the first day I was able to eat without discomfort or pain and everyday there after has been more pleasurable to eat. I have expanded my food pallette to many foods I ate before the spasms started. You are doing a great service to the people by sharing your knowledge. A thousand thank you's!!!!

The saliva reaction, 1st time. Also, you have one of the warmest most genuine smiles I've ever seen...
