was there a patch note about changing the size of maps? or has it just been that long since i played? every one started on top of each other. I remember a medium size map having more room?

Well, it didn't make me play AoW4, but this video did remind me that AoW3 is a thing, and several hours later... I can't believe I never played long enough as the sorceror class to get their utterly stupid '+3 mana on all resource nodes, even the non-magical ones' tech. Turns out, that game has more egregious hero stacking buried in there than OG Master of Magic. Wow.
