I have adhd (untreated), so reading this book for school is so insanely difficult for me. Despite pausing here and there, and of course taking short breaks I managed to listen to the full thing! Thanks for the help!

I deal with dyslexia, despite attempting to force myself to practice practice practice, i feel like im growing to be a weaker reader as the years pass by. People like you, who dedicate so much time and effort are a god send. I adore reading (audiobooks) and have done it since i was a kid. Thank you so much for the work you do. It helps me decorate the hallway of time with enjoyable storys and thought provoking ideas. Thank you so much. -N

Great reading voice will look out more of your reading .

Anyone else think its interesting that these two men live on a secret island together and spend all their time "man-making" and calling each other "silly asses"?
-
Thanks again! On to the next book. :)

I drive all night long for mobile security, I happened across this and you made my night go by so fast! Thanks for making a long boring night fun and relaxing!

Thanks Steve 👍🏼

This was the first book I remember my dad reading to me and my sibling at night before bed. (Is this why I love horror and the macabre now as an adult?) This reading of it was very calming. Thank you.

Had to study this for college, you helped immensely! Thank you so much for your efforts.

For the past month or so I've come to appreciate the value of audio books while in hospital, recuperating from a devastating physical operation. I needed a pastime with minimal demands in terms of light exposure, noise and eyestrain (brain tumor surgery actually). It's almost deliciously ironic that probably my favorite book so far (I've audited many) is Island of Dr Moreau. House Of Pain indeed lol. Came to relate to that in a whole new light. HGW was a genius.

"So you've heard of rhinoplasty, amputations, and blood transfusions?" "Yeah" "Well that's how I transform animals into humans" 🤔

Amazing reading of this book!! I have tried other audio videos of this book, but none of them had me as enthralled in the story as your voice seemed to do. Thank you for uploading this !

This reading was amazing! Your voice acting conveys the full emotion and terror that the book has ❤️

Amazing reading here! I tried another version but it was a little dry & clinical. I feel like you really are Edward Prendick telling us all this tale you actually went on personally! Great job, really drew me in.

Mr. Parker, you are a gem. This is the second audio book I've listened to with Steve after Brave New World. Good stuff!
-
Great reading. Thank you!

Hello Mr.Parker just wanted to add my explicit thanks both for this wonderful audio book and your generous well wishes regarding my recovery (I'm the tumor patient below- all I could manage by way of acknowledgement at the moment was a feeble like in reply). Anyway, cheers Sir.

I noticed a very subtle and notable change within predik. He goes from saying creatures, beast this to beast that, brutes, to at one point consistently referring to them as men and women. Very nice touch of H.G.Wells I may say. Now I want to see the movie to see all the similarities and differences

Awesome, thank you. I've been listening to your audiobooks one after another Mr Parker. I really appreciate what you do
