The Cebu Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project is a mass transit system planned and conceptualized by the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC, now Department of Transportation or DOTr) and the Cebu City Government (CCG) for Metro Cebu in 2012. A BRT provides fast mass transportation through dedicated road lanes and terminals thereby reducing traffic congestion and improved vehicular traffic.

This is a good start. PH cities shouldn't be car-centric. I only suggest that work should be at least from sun up to sun down to hadten construction.

What I love about our city is the fact that there are still a lot of trees in our metropolitan area despite its rapid urbanization. I hope it stays that way.

Uaaaaa, as someone from Manila it’s nice to see a city with decent sidewalks. Manila could never…

at last our sidewalks are nice! thanks to lgu!👍👍👍
  • They need to add those black lantern light posts in Osmena Park also so it would look nice and bright at night. Thanks for the tour.

The Philippines needs a better quality transportation system just like Japan and South Korea. I hope 2050 or earlier

the title is wrong. The Cebu BRT isn't the first BRT system in the Philippines. That title goes to the EDSA Carousel. However, Cebu City's BRT will be the most extensive BRT system in the PH to date. Can't wait to see it running! BRT is a much better idea than LRTs which are way too expensive to run. Hopefully, the success of the Cebu BRT can be replicated in all of the most populous or urbanized cities throughout the country soon (Iloilo, Davao, Baguio, Legazpi, Puerto Princesa, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro etc).
