I MOVED TO HAWAII | The process & experience + new house

Gotta say, as a single mom, I can't help but see how awesome your mom was through the whole process --- SO MUCH TO DO (that I know you couldn't even show in this video)!! She's amazing, super-mom, made it seem like she had it all under control no matter what waves came your way!! Will be going through the same process in the near future!! My Hawaii Journey I arrived in Hawaii in December 2005 with my mother and my first memory was us landing at Honolulu airport to meet my dad and I was so happy to see him after a few weeks because he left first for Hawaii before us. Then we went to our house.The first house was a ranch house in Earhart neighborhood. The only downside to this house was that my parents had to deal with cockroaches. But I did have a secret alleyway to my private swing since I was the only kid at the time who knew about this swing. I also walk to and from school from this house. this was also where i started my journey with my dog Henry who I had for 13 years . Then in 2006 we moved again to another neighborhood and the court we were on was Gemini Avenue. I also would ride my bike in this court. I also played TAG games in this house too in 2008 although this channel isn't around anymore. One day in May 2009 just a month before we got ready to move out of Hawaii I sneaked on to that channel once and my mother was annoyed with me because I did not ask her if I could play those games since they made games 25 cents every time you played in April 2009 but it turned out they were free for the month of May. School. I started Nimitz elementary school in Janurary 2006 after the holidays and I was in 3rd grade at the time of the move. At first it was not easy chaning schools and leaving Dakota Valley behind. That year I went to the Plantation Village and made an animal for scince fair. I also watched Anne in class and I would play Triazzle on the computer at school for Fun fridays or the End of the month Celebraton and I would play Math Keys on the computer as well. I also got an ortament from my school craft which I still have. I also did Freedom walk in September 2006 and 2008 for 9/11. I also did the Fall Festival in October 2007 and October 2008 and I ate outback steakhouse at the festival in October 2007 for dinner and did Jumba Juice the other year. I also sang its a christmas luau and Marshmellow world and Soliders slient night for my christmas program every year the last day before the holiday break. I also watched Old yeller with my class and Went to the Loi and got my own hula drum. I also did service day in school where I would help in the cafeteria and the office and libarary when I was selected. I also did Bike education and before this I was afraid to ride a bike.I also ate outside at my school with my parents for their anniversary lunch in September 2008. Annika and Nadia. On New years 2005 we went over to see my friends Annika and Nadia. I was happy that our dads were stationed together. I also would celebrate thier birthdays with them and on my 9th birthday in June 2006 we shared birthdays and got ice cream sundaes and we went to the Wooden Playground because Annika Birthday was so close to mine. We also went to the Community Playground together. We also went bowling together and we did Boofest one year in October 2007 and did trick or treat together for Halloween 2007. They also came over to our house for the superbowl and we went Hickam beach together and ate buca di beppo together in February 2007 and We even saw either other one night at the Ala mona Center. We also had game night at their house one night. We also did moive night at our houses together we saw Eight below together and Saw enchanted in November 2007 and Horton hears a who together on March 2008 when me and Annika were off for Spring break from school. We also spent columbus day at my house one year. We also went to Ruby tuesday Justin Air force graduation. One time at their house Nadia lied the room was clean when it was messy and one time a lighting fixture in their room fell down and broke and my dad had to carry us out of the room and Nadia was almost hurt by this. Gabby and Bethany and other kids. I also remember my friends Gabby and Bethany. I met Bethany outside on the court of house one time and she had moved from Germany to Hawaii. I remember her mother mentioned this. She loved playing with play dough with Gabby so i got her some play dough toys for her 5th birthday in November 2008. I also did a playdate with Gabby at her house one time in November 2008 the day after her birthday. One time Gabby went over to Bethany house and her dad did not know.I told her dad and he got annoyed because he was looking all over the house for her but he understood. Then the day came where Gabby had to move to a new neighborhood it was so sad for Hannah that Gabby gave away her pool table to her one time Hannah even played with the hose with me in her backyard but she got into trouble in the end when her mom found out. One time Molokai got out which was Gabby dog who has probably passed away and gone now im sure and I told Ian who was gabby brother and he was like no. One time Ian also vandalized a shed with some of his friends as well and I also remember me and my friends buried a bird one time.I also dinner with Bethany too on June 6th 2009 and that was my last time seeing her. and she was so sad when she learned I was moving away and 2009 was also a rough year for her because her dad was in Iraq at the time we moved out of Hawaii. Bethany is living in Dayton Ohio now. She was the last one to leave Gemini Anvue in August 2009 when her dad came home two months after I left Hawaii. Swimming/Beaches/Pools I also remember Swimming at the hickam beach and my mother would ride her bike there. I also went to the Bellows beach.One time a girl at hickam beach almost lost her toy when it was about to float out into the ocean but i saw it and got it returned to her. I also remember the hickam pool and i played with girl there one New years eve one year. I also helped a girl Named Ariel who was afraid to jump into the pool. I also remeber one time I found out that you had to be 11 or older to swim in the deep end by yourself I got to stay in the deep end luckly because I just turned 11 at that time but two other girls had to leave the deep end because they were not old enough.I also went down the water slide once. I also remember swimming in the Hale koa pool some times and one time with my cousins when they were visiting me in Hawaii. I also remember swimming at the pools at the Hilton and the Lagoon and pattle boat the lagoon with my dad when we were in our last days of Hawaii. I also remember playing on some beaches with my dad in Kauai in September 2007 and I also went to the Black sand beach with my parents and grandparents in November 2007 on our trip to the Big island. Shopping I remember Shopping in the BXTRA with my parents and would walk around the store myself sometimes. I also got a Hawaiian book there and some toys and a doggie day toys and dvd which I have today. I also remember getting grocery from the commisary and walking there from my house since i was across the street from it and me and my family got ice cream at baskin robbins too at the food court since we were so close.I also went to the Navy exchange NEX in pearl harbor and I would eat dairy queen outside on the balcony on the 2nd floor. I also got a glass turtle and some webkinz which I still have today. One time when i visited the escalator was broken in the shop and I yelled sweet. I also went to the Ala mona center too i would often visit the build a bear on the 3rd floor at the time which is not around anymore sadly. I still have some toys from there today. I also went to the Disney store too sometimes. I also went to Pearl ridge mall and I would ride the monorail with my parents each way. I also went to see Hotel for dogs in this theater in the mall. I also went to the 3rd floor of the uptown side of the mall for my dentist appointments. I also did some of Christmas shopping there too. I also went to the Ward Warehouse which is not around anymore sadly and Ward center too for The old spaghetti factory and Borders bookstore which is also gone now as well as well as Sedona store which has since moved from the Ward center recently. I also remember eating an Italian restaurant there twice which is also gone from Ward center as well. Holidays. I also remember Halloween I did not need a jacket for trick or treating since it was so warm outside and 100 of kids would come to my house every Halloween one time my grandmother took me trick or treating Halloween 2008. We also had thanksgiving potluck one year in 2008 which was our last thanksgiving in Hawaii and one for Christmas 2008. I also celebrated thanksgiving with my grandparents in 2007 in Hawaii. I also did trick or treat on a boat in Pearl Harbor the day before Halloween. Also one Memorial day weekend one year in Hawaii me and my parents got shave ice at the north shore Rainbow was my favorite flavor and green tea was flavor for my mother and Hawaiian Combo is what my dad would get. I also had valentines day party once at our court in February 2009 and I party with the other kids at Josh and Remmy house. The parents meanwhile celebrated the holiday at our house and I pour my drink into the popcorn bin. It was my very celebration last with everyone before we all had to move out of that neighborhood. I remember celebrating my 11th birthday in Hawaii and going to Farrells which is gone now. I also went to cafe Maharani for my mothers 39th birthday. I also remember going to Macaroni Grill at ala mona center for a goodbye party one of dads co workers leaving for Texas at that time although he probly is living somewhere else now Im sure.
