Mike Swigunski is a 33-year-old nomadic entrepreneur who moved to Tbilisi, Georgia from the U.S. He is able to take advantage of tax benefits from living abroad and a low cost of living that allows him to work as little or as often as he likes, and he still manages to make $275,000 a year. As a result he has traveled to 100 countries, can afford a two-story apartment, and has a private chef come six times a week to cook for him.

Why is every digital nomad’s job running a business that teaches other people to be a digital nomad?
  • @whereisyourtie
How to be a nomadic entrepreneur: Make a website and write a book about how to be a nomadic entrepreneur 😂
  • @Mr1wd
You can pretty much live a good life anywhere with $275k/year income.
  • @morriselee
This basically is a "free" advisement of his website and book.

If your income is in dollars or euros, then Georgia is a good place to live but if your income is in GEL, then it is terribly difficult to live here. It is much more difficult for locals to live in Georgia than for foreigners. That is why Europe and America are full of Georgian immigrants.

Jesus Christ, CNBC, don't give away the secrets of Georgia. Don't wanna share this amazing country with everyone.

Moving to country where the currency is less powerful allows you to live better. YOU DONT SAY

Even though I cringed every time he pronounced Tbilisi, seeing the city warms my heart, I taught English in Georgia some years ago. Tbilisi is fairly cosmopolitan city in a developing country but the people are wonderful the food is delicious. And as an African American woman I felt very safe living there. The only thing I don't miss about it is how cold it gets.

The wisest thing that should be on everyone's mind currently should be. To invest in different streams of income that doesn't depend on government, especially with the current especially with the current economic crises around the world.
  • Lmao this guy is a fraud. He doesn't make $275k profit, he doesn't even make this much as a gross income. He is a guru, someone who tells others how to be an "entrepreneur" then takes their money while he doesn't even do any of this. He gets paid from sponsorships on IG and wherever else. Not an entrepreneur, a guru. Just look up his IG and then google him, you'll see where all of his $40k/year salary comes from and his "business" failings from other guru scams.

You can live in the US on 275k quite nicely too.
  • @alibc8877
Having a job that pays 275K$ a year in USA and living there also makes one’s life easier but with that amount of salary (income) and living in Tibilisi of course makes one living in a heaven :)

I loved the video! Lots of great information about working and living abroad. So sorry about the loss of your mother Mike!

If you wanna be successful, you most take responsibility for your emotions, not place the blame on others. In addition to make you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. There's always a risk in every investment, yet people still invest and succeed. You must look outward if you wanna be successful in life.

Honestly leaving the states is a real option I’m thinking about. The US is just too costly.
  • @dchoyas
Georgian cuisine is absolutely mind-blowing, simply unparalleled
  • @vladimirtalijan
Too many people want to manage other people doing stuff for them and then taking a cut. That kind of business thinking will lead to everyone wanting to manage and no one wanting to work, it's already hard to find people with actual skills.
  • Every family has that one person who will break the family financial struggles, I hope you become the one 🙏
  • @troooooper100
local tax rate doesn't matter if you make over 100k because US citizens gotta pay to IRS no matter where they live
