What if we rethink the ENTIRE lore of FNAF? I'm talking taking it back to the crying child, Afton and the original suits and a mysterious Orange - yes ORANGE - Man that no one was able to figure out. What if William Afton was not the only bad guy in the story? What if someone drove Afton into becoming Purple Guy? What if Henry had a bigger part to play all along? Today we are rewriting Five Nights at Freddy's with a new twist based on NEW evidence.

Nearly a decade now of hearing the closing line. “And that’s just a theory, a GAME THEORY! Thanks for watching!” It still hasn’t lost its charm, warmth and honesty.
  • @onepunchman9910
Matpat: I finally got the lore down! Scott: What about Fnaf 8? Matpat: what Scott: what
  • @jennaclapp
It would make sense if Henry was mustard man, because the opposite color of yellow, is purple on the color wheel. Just gonna throw that out there.
  • @arcanegift
I'd love to see MatPat revisit this theory and see what still holds up
  • The only thing we have truly established is that Henry and William loved their daughters more then any of their other children but were still somehow neglectful of what matters most
  • @Buagg
MatPat: "I've final finished all the FNAF lore" Scott: I'm about end this man's whole career
  • @Jo-Wilbe-Dina
Matpat makes a new Fnaf theory Me: "Yeah this is big brain time."
  • @WORMPONY
I’m thinking of it like this: The games are William’s story and the books are Henry’s story.
  • I’m 3 years late but still want to make this point: If Michael WAS Henry’s son, Scott wouldn’t have chosen a British voice for him. Henry is very clearly American while William is very clearly British.
  • @cubaku
Matpat: I did it! I've solved everything!! I found out your secret!! Scott: Haha, [ smacks Uno reverse card ]
  • @JohnsonSteel
MatPat: FINALLY, I FIGURED OUT THE FNAF LORE Scott Cawthon: I'm about to end the man's whole career

Another detail that supports Henry being CC’s father is the Phsycic Friend Fredbear cameras. In the books Henry is very much described to be a guy who builds toys and robots and gadgets for his daughter, for her to play with or to keep watch of her. If there is someone who would build plushie-toy robots with cameras to keep his kid safe it would definitely be Henry
  • @skelebeee
honestly, id love to see this theory revisited, especially now that the movie is out and 'flipped' the families with henry having the 3 kids and william having just the one.
  • @harrylane4
"I'm going to throw out everything from previous FNAF theories." ah, so it's a regular tuesday, then.
  • @reagandoyle9996
Mattpat: "That's my final theory!" Scott Cawthon: "Hold my beer."
  • @brianco28
i love how matpat randomly made one video saying the crying child was henry's son and then never mentioned it again
  • @MMajor13
I’m pretty sure that at this point the only reason Scott Cawthorn still creates new content is simply to mess around with MatPat.
  • @ShlickSFM
MatPat: I've almost figured out this story! Scott: Dear God, he is getting to close to the truth, quick release another game that throws another million things into the story

Watching older theories is kinda helpful. It gives perspective on what could've been, what lasted and turned out to be true, and a few things that other fans and I might've missed or forgotten about. Nice to revisit them :D
