At Howlin' Ray's in L.A.'s Chinatown, chef Johnny Zone and his wife Amanda have created a sensation with their Nashville-style hot chicken, which regularly attracts hour-long lines of poultry-loving spice fiends. There are six advertised heat levels—so, needless to say, Hot Ones host Sean Evans had to go try the off-menu level seven, which is packed with Carolina Reaper. Watch him struggle through the fire with comedian Brian Redban.

  • This was filmed almost 3 years ago. It'd be cool and interesting to see Sean re-visit Howlin' Ray's to see how much his tolerance has increased after years of eating spicy wings on his own show. Howlin' Ray's Spicy Chicken reunion!
  • 'We got sean in the house' proceeds looking at him like a criminal
  • I like how that dude kept eye contact with your when he said, "Guys we have Sean in the House!".
  • @shaunald
I rubbed my eye during this video and panicked for a second.
  • Guy selling ice-cream beside his store would make a business out of it.
  • When you see Sean Evans eyes watering, you know this place is no joke. They taste the real deal.
  • Any man who wears a tampax shirt while scarfing down super spicy wings and napkins has my respect
  • I love how Johnny gazed into you while he yelled "we got shawn in the house!"
  • That chicken looks so deadly, yet delicious. So dangerous, yet appetising. This is one of the best videos ever and I keep coming back to it since 2017
  • @ehawk7921
Apparently the napkins at that place are amazing as well. Gotta try.
  • When sean is affected by hot food, that's how you know it's no joke.
  • The way he kept eye contact when he said, "We've got Sean in the house.".. I think spicy has affected his brain.
  • @youssefr
Johnny: They actually put the chickens to sleep before they're slaughtered Me: Oh so they don't feel it, that's pretty humane- Johnny: It's makes it a little more tender that way. Me: Oh, okay. 1:46
  • idk what's more surprising, the fact that he's wearing a tampax shirt or the fact that tampax made shirts for ppl to wear in public
  • "I can feel my heartbeat in my eyebrows!"... HAHAHA. Powerful Brian Redban!
  • 6:50 "oh, that's not that bad.... just kidding" redban annoyed me at first, but i've grown to really love the guy
  • The way he stared into Sean’s soul when he announced he was there will haunt me for the rest of my days.
