People forget that Tom Jones is a great soul singer. There are clips all over the net of him performing with his heroes and he always holds his own.

The balls it takes to do these duets with legends back in the day. And Tom was unintimidated. He knew he had the chops and the grove to not only hold his own but make it better.

Both Ray and Tom could sing all styles...blues, jazz, rock, soul, r&b and country...and sing it live. These two men were/are great artists that will be remembered forever.

He may have been born in Wales but he has New Orleans dna running through his veins! Love the way he interprets a song, utterly soulful and flawless for the last 60 years. The guy is so in his element doing what comes naturally, just oozes class. I feel blessed to have grown up watching and listening to Sir Tom from the 1960's.
