Saint Ignatius of Antioch, the God Bearer

I was raised in a protestant baptist church. Our pastor always read the words of the Lord instituting the last supper “this is my blood/body, take and eat…” and then followed it up by “this is only a symbol of our faith and not actually his blood and body” which always bothered me even as a child and teenager. The notion they had just read Scripture verbatim and it followed up by a negation of the Lord’s very words never sat well with me. After 2 decades of atheism, I have learned of how St. Ignatius combated this very heresy so early on in the Church’s history. This is one of the many reasons that I have found the Orthodox Church as the only One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church and become a catechumen. Lord have mercy on us and save us, Amen!

I can sincerely say, you guys brought me closer to the true apostolic church with your videos. I am in the process of converting from protestant to orthodox. Thank you.

I am protestant but When i listen or read abour orthodox saints, i realise i am such a weak in faith and i have no right to be upset to the Almighty

St. Ignatius my most beloved saint. The one who led me back to the Holy Church. A bright star in hard times, a true supporter for my soul and body. Thank you for everything.

The world needs more of these stories in this format. In this world of propaganda, whoever has the best story will rule. The best story is the story that resonates with the largest amount of people. And what resonates with all people is the lights, the truth, the Logos incarnate.

This is by far one of the most enlightening things I have ever had the privilege of watching.

As a protestant I absolutely appreciate these videos. It's one thing to read about the saint but another to have the ability to listen while working or doing other things. It's why I myself have attempted to make some videos and will hopefully improve over time. May God bless you guys 🙏🏾
