"Hey Lois, this is just like the time Blender Guru recreated our house."
  • @MiDaY_i
The fact that andrew owns up to instances where he knows something is beyond him is something people really should learn

The characters are nightmare fuel but the living room is a dream! Incredible job!

Downloading other peoples models is a good way to learn how to fix bad geometry. I cant say how many times I thought I was going to save time only to spend hours fixing someone else's mess.
  • Amazing how much content you can "cram" in just seven minutes! Great work!

"Love is like a fart. If you have to force it, its probably crap." - Peter! And i loved this like a fart

Every time I watch a video on this channel, I feel inspired to learn more about Blender. I love working with Blender and creating 3D models, but sometimes I feel overwhelmed by the amount of information out there. It's like I'm facing a huge mountain, and every time I try to climb it, the mountain gets bigger and bigger, and the top seems farther and farther away. I start to question whether or not I really want to learn Blender. Then I come across a video on this channel, and it reignites my passion for learning.

I think the night one is better. The day one sort of looks like it's underground or something, because of the lack of different light sources. It just feels too dark. I think there should be more spilled light from outside on the stairs, inside the opened door etc. as if there is multiple windows in the house instead of just few in the actual modeled room
  • your ways in talking and organizing the information is soooo nice and encourage us to figure out more info, I am watching your videos from 2018 till now and truly no one on the YouTube has the same power of inspiration you have that made people fall in love with blender, thanks Andrew and keep posting

This is cool. I remember the first tutorials you started making about 2 decades ago. You have definitely improved a lot and you definitely have quite the success story :)
  • @Robman92
That is so good! Both the room and the characters!

Blender Guru is one of the best when it comes to tuts. Explains well and isn't afraid to reveal he's always learning -- just like me!
  • @rebusfarm
That is so cool, that you turned the Family Guy living room into a realistic one! I like the night one slightly better! Awesome job and great instructions on how you did it! 🧡
  • Cheers Andrew! Happy you still making tut and fun to learn a few things after all these years.👌
  • @brentpolite
Damn! Although Family Guy is not my cup of tea, your realistic creation of it most definitely is. Outstanding job Andrew... Perfectly magnificent!

So much respect for trying something out, knowing its a dud, then retracting it while acknwoladging somethings just don't work. Thats the reality of being an artist! Great work, much love Andrew!!
