I love that your dog regularly looks at me to check if I’m still doing the exercises

Thank you so much for not talking so much. It was just the right amount of talking that was super relaxing and straight to the point . ❤

I love this but I do have to make people aware how powerful this is. I've been on a healing journey from past trauma for years and got into yoga again due to this channel. I tend to suppress my emotions because I'm used to being in an environment where I'm only safe when I do that. When doing this yoga, I never cried. But after a whole month of doing it at least 3 times a week, I'm suddenly finding to correlation between this yoga and the amount of times I took time to cry. One of the things my therapist suggested me to do is to practice sitting down with negative emotions because I have an instict not to do it. And I dont look forward to it most of the time. But this month its been easier to cry since doing this yoga. Highly recommended but do with caution. Make sure you're in a safe comfortable environment to fully feel the effects of this yoga

this was quite literally one of the best stretching videos i have done. simple yet effective and i love all of the silence and calmness in voice. yes!
  • I enjoy the fact you let me stay in a stretch for ample amount of time instead of switching it up so fast. It’s frustrating when I’m following a video and just get into the pose and it’s already on to something else. Thank you for allowing my body to feel each pose sufficiently.
  • I’ve tried many trauma informed yoga videos they were too long or the instructor was talking too much and giving me anxiety, your video is very calming and 20 min felt like 3 minutes thank you so much

I started crying really hard when we did the double sided hip stretch … and I can’t stop now … there’s so much coming up right now … I feel a bit overwhelmed
  • I love that more people are inviting their beloved furry companions to join them in their yoga practice. My cat loves to weave around me as I flow through my poses. Thank you so much for this wonderful practice Caitlin! Xox

I have heard of people crying while doing hip openers but in my years of yoga ( 20ish years off and on) I have never cried. That changed today. I did this class and the sequence with frog pose just did something.
  • I absolutely love this video. I’ve been doing this somatic yoga for 6 days sometimes multiple times a day. I started because of the trauma I wanted to release and then I hurt my back and this yoga literally took all the pain away every time I would do it so that’s why I did it multiple times a day. Well this evening my back and hip was hurting so bad I started the yoga and I finally got the emotional release I’ve been waiting for. I cried uncontrollably for a time paused the video so I won’t miss any of the positions and just felt the pain and trauma leaving my body. Even the spot in my hip seemed to immediately lose the pain I’ve had all day. I will continue to follow your YouTube channel and look forward to more emotional releases. I’m working on healing so I can be a better me. Thank you for posting your video.
  • Thankyouuuuu so much for not talking the whole time! Or over explaining to us like we're slow, or rushing through like so many other instructors! The calm voice and pauses in between help so much! This was a deeply emotional yoga session for me, your dog was everything !

Thank you Thank you Thank you. I cant say that enough. I found myself pausing a lot to stay in the poses longer because my body said so. The outer hip stretches!!!!! I've never felt that before. I know what my trauma is and for the first time I felt some release from my hips which is where I store all of my trauma. I will be doing this often(maybe everyday) after my somatic workout. I'm determined to get my body out of freeze mode and get back to myself. Thanks again.

This was a beautiful way to start my New Year❤ I just went through a a very difficult couple of years and stopped taking care of my body in the way I know I deserve. Doing this today reminded me how much my body loves yoga and needs it. Thank you, Namaste

I absolutely love this routine. It's funny how some of the poses are a bit uncomfortable, but it's a "good hurt"... seriously feels like something my body has needed for a long time. Thanks so much!

I read a comment that someone cried. As I am doing a few of the exercises I could feel a lot of anxiety and uncertainty but no tears. Until I did happy baby and I rocked myself and burst into laughter. Then I felt immediate sadness and uncertainty and started crying. These exercises truly help thank you.

I know it hasn’t been long, but I’ve been doing this for the last 3 mornings to start my day. It’s been really great and feels so good!!!
  • I’m a total yoga beginner, I loved this, I shook so much throughout. I have PTSD so hoping that starting a yoga journey will help, this was my first day and first video. I loved it. Thank you x

I finally was able to let out some deep sighs and only sobbed a little bit. It doesn't sound like much, but it's a lot more progress than my other attempts to release the trauma/tension in my hips. I'm definitely going to try again, thank you so much!
