  • Ryan's outro line is a gem. "Mac OS is too soft. Linux is too hard. Windows is just right, but in this analogy every time Goldilocks lays down in that bed it touches her inappropriately"
  • @nurofenusa1
There once was a can of Pringles, Whose contents gave people the tingles. But one day with a swoop, It was filled up with poop, And now it just jingles and jiggles!
  • @DavidH373
Society's foundation is made of these unspoken rules. You return your shopping carts to the corral, you don't talk in the bathroom, and you hold the door for people with their hands full. Just some of the common courtesies.

"It's like bobbing for apples but instead of water, it's vomit." - Ryan perfectly summarizes existence.
  • @pyroromancer
anime plot where every black hole in the galaxy is the result of super weapons being used in a war between 2 ancient civilizations that have wiped each other out
  • @mhoyle95
This podcast makes me feel like im not the only sane human left, the craziness that goes on today is wild.
  • Tipping: Tip payouts vary by region. For example the two nearest cities to me having dramatically different tipping culture. In one you’re pretty much guaranteed to make $1200 take home in a four hour shift regardless of where you work. In the other outside of a few exceptions a good 40 week is $50 and the restaurant will log your cash tips at at least the minimum required for them to not have to pay you minimum wage.

I need more oddly satisfying troubleshoots in my life
  • @bmorepanic
Costco is the very worst about returning carts. Few corrals (here its like 1 corral for every 3 rows of cars) that are already stuffed with carts. So many drivers either speeding away in relief that they can finally leave or endlessly circling vulturing for parking, it's a challenge to be safe pushing carts around.
  • @luke.dethomas
Sweating in jelly cloths would bring new meaning to your cloths being painted on😅
  • @mcash2189
the fact that chat GPT passed the Turing test is impressive Until you realize that the Turing test was created in the 1950s the testing criteria should be updated to reflect the fact that computers are more advanced now
  • @MrTubeuser12
20:00 they managed to fix three computers on voyager 1 that far into space, I can't even get local tech support to fix my printer ! WTF LOL
  • @The1Elcil
Wendell: tried A2 milk? fungus movie: The Girl with all the Gifts.
  • You shouldn't have said that about Goldilocks, now there's gonna be even more rule 34 out there
  • @Technopath47
The shopping cart is the ultimate litmus test for whether a person is capable of self-governing, the post states. To return the shopping cart is an easy, convenient task and one which we all recognize as the correct, appropriate thing to do. To return the shopping cart is objectively right. There are no situations other than dire emergencies in which a person is not able to return their cart. Simultaneously, it is not illegal to abandon your shopping cart. Therefore the shopping cart presents itself as the apex example of whether a person will do what is right without being forced to do it. No one will punish you for not returning the shopping cart, no one will fine you, or kill you for not returning the shopping cart, you gain nothing by returning the shopping cart. You must return the shopping cart out of the goodness of your own heart. You must return the shopping cart because it is the right thing to do. Because it is correct. A person who is unable to do this is no better than an animal, an absolute savage who can only be made to do what is right by threatening them with a law and the force that stands behind it. The Shopping Cart is what determines whether a person is a good or bad member of society.”
