the electronic price tags should have a law passed that the price can only be updated during hours they are closed, imagine picking up an item for 3.99 continuing to shop then you are told its now 5.99 when you check out... updating while shoppers are shopping will create mistrust and abuse and lead to customers dropping their carts and walking out frustrated

5:31 returned clothes bought online apparently are not being resold, but simply thrown away. ClimateTown covered this topic

I build 2 bit and 4 bit optical computers in 1979! Bullsh1t Intel, you had bought it then as I had them FOR SALE!
  • @ShaneMcGrath.

  • @merlin1649
Killed me with the "he only leveled dex not strength".
  • Aldi have electronic price makers. Literally watched the price change on so e strawberries just after I'd put them in the trolley. Not sure you'd be too happy if someone was waiting at the checkout with a sticker gun too up prices as your shopping was being put on the conveyer. Be well

Had the province funded maintenance properly, the building would still be in good repair. They choked The Ontario Science Centre for years and then decide to close it down and sell the land to condo developers to make billions. Doug Ford PC government capitalizing and contributing to the closure of a major Ontario landmark, place of learning for an underprivileged area, and a wonderful family day trip destination. I'm heartbroken they're closing it down instead of repairing it. It's effing ridiculous.
  • @HerrAlien
Is the title a hint to Fine Young Cannibals? Are we supposed to sing it like that?
  • @scrittle
Ah yes, 'Apple Self-Repair', couldn't have thought of a better oxymoron myself.

  • @Jasontyo
I swear there were a few low end cars in the late 00s, maybe the Nissan Versa, that shipped with no stereo just an aux jack and speakers.
  • @GainingDespair
I rarely return, I always feel bad returning even when its justified. I guess there is a stigma involved with returning stuff. If its defective, or if the product page blatantly lied than I return. I generally keep products I didn't like as I feel that's my fault. I find returning stuff a hassle on Amazon, mainly due to no printer for shipping label, and them always insisting on it being returned via UPS with the closest UPS store being 24 miles away. We have a small drop box in the front of town* but nothing larger than a VHS thick envelope will fit in it.

Superstore (Loblaws) in Canada have had those electronic tags for like 10 years now. I never even thought of it being used to change the prices dynamically like that tho. Crazy
  • @JohnPamplin
Dammit, you almost ordered jelly beans in my house!
  • @cracklingice
I've had Paramount plus for like 3 years now, but with them canceling two great star trek shows, along with the price hikes, I'm done. Heck, I was done come the third year because of the massive price hike of forcing me to get max or whatever crap they bundled with the ad free plan, but when I went to cancel they offered 50% off and I took it.

Ontario is pronounced On-tear-E-Oh (tear as in tearing a piece of paper). Some locals pronounce it “On-Tear-Rio”, tomato/tomato.
