Watchers may not realize it, but this was the last time Bob Dylan ever smiled.
-
Anyone saying Bob can't play the guitar should hear this duet with the great Clapton.
-
The admiration that Eric shows for Dylan is profound.
-
Dylan and Slowhand together just an incredible performance
-
This song contains the greatest line written in the last 60 years, "I once loved a woman, a child I'm told. You know I gave her my heart but she wanted my soul..."
-
Bob Dylan and Eric Clapton playing their own solos at the same time! Priceless
-
Eric is the epitome of class. He never try’s to upstage anyone on stage. Bob seems very happy and relaxed playing with him.
-
I love how Bob and Eric are having a conversation at the start, without saying a word.
-
What I love about this is the respect Eric shows for Bob's song. He does'nt overwhelm the version with guitar pyrotechnics as he may have been able to do, but is happy just providing a bit of a riff at roughly the same standard as Bob whilst allowing Dylan to lead the song. Very classy.
-
Eric managed to get Bob to smile. Outstanding.
-
Clapton just does it for joy , perhaps he knows he's the best
-
I am so glad they have a video of this song and these two priceless performers together. You can see how happy Eric Clapton is performing with Bob Dylan, 🎼
-
They're having a conversation without saying a word to each other. I love this.
-
Bob Dylan makes songs for everybody to embellish singing wise. One of the best songwriters of our time.
-
Clapton at his best: The sign of a true musician. Knowing when to lay back, and stay out of the way when it's the right way to make the music sound better.
-
To see the true value of this, look at how Eric is perceiving this..he is having the time of his life!!
-
I am really blown by Dylan's guitar playing .
-
I admire anyone who plays with dylan live cuz you just never know what hes gonna do , gotta think on yer feet.....but hey its clapton i doubt he was worried
-
This is simply an outstanding performance. I understand that some Dylan fans might not care for it, but if one can avoid comparing it with the original (quite possibly one of Dylan's best ever) it really stands out. It is obvious that the crowd, the band, and Dylan himself enjoyed it.

Blown away by this. What a great version and Bob has to finally give in and show how much he's enjoying it. For Eric it's there on his face from the start
