The plaintiff claims he hired the defendant to remove a scratch on his car. Unfortunately, the plaintiff says all the defendant did was spray paint over the damage, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant insists he did a great job on the vehicle.

  • The plaintiff 1000% looks like the type of guy who goes around telling civilians he's DEA or FBI or whatever. He just gives that vibe.

To the plaintiff: In my Fred Sanford voice..."you big dummy!"

Another "the cheap comes out expensive" case.

I would never give business to random people approaching me on the street.

When you scratch your car, either take it to a professional who knows what they are doing, or do it yourself and put up with a lousy job. Never let someone do it for you in a carpark.

Both the plaintiff and the defendant talk like they have mouth fulls of potatoes.

On a side note I bet Doug tells everyone he knows no matter what “right this way” it is a part of his DNA at this point lol

The plaintiff most definitely impersonated a police officer. The judge should have questioned him more about that!

I’ve had someone offer me this in a store parking lot I politely declined

If the defendant is willing to refund plaintiff's money, why plaintiff is coming to court?

That is a common scam though, at least I know it is in Florida. They notice you have a dent or scratch and offer you an insanely low price to fix it.

How did the plaintiff manage to get this far in life 😂

I got scammed by one of those guys saying they can fix my “ dent” for $30.00. It went up to over $150.00 and I ended up calling the police. Nothing came of it. I ended up paying professionals in a real body shop to fix it. I learned my lesson.

Dude's voice at the beginning of every show is the best in the business. This is the main reason I watch People's Court...
  • I got ‘got’ by a guy who said he could remove a few scratches on my car. He just smeared a light green putty on some scratches, told me it would fill in and could buffed smooth after a few hours. I ended up with that light colored putty making my scratches stand out even more. Fortunately he didn’t do any sanding or painting. I would not have agreed to that though. But he got me by first suctioning out a dent beautifully. And he pointed out a couple of scratches that the putty wouldn’t work for. Actual results on something else + a little truth mixed in with a lie makes the lie more believable. I was out $115.
  • Everybody and they momma knows not to mess with auto body gypsies. It's crazy. A guy in the parking lot? 😅😅😅

The Defendant says that the Plaintiff said he's DEA. Plaintiff denies it and happens to work in law enforcement? Both litigants are slimy. I wonder how many times the Plaintiff has improperly used his job credentials.
