Wow, another highly exclusive, all carbon fibre, track-focused RWD McLaren 2-seater supercar with a twin turbo 3.8l-4l V8 making 500-800HP, that has optional extras worth more than most people's daily drivers. And they say Porsche has a photocopier instead of a design team...

Notice the consistency & dedication. 09.10.2020 doug wore this same t shirt & shorts to review the mclaren 765lt model & TODAY he wore the same combination to review mclaren 765lt. Perfection 👌
  • @AutoTopnl
Love the video Doug! It was actually the fastest car (stock) we've ever had on the Autobahn!
  • @andykillsu
So this is the high performance, track focused McLaren, like every other McLaren...
  • I wonder when the day will come, when they will add 'Driven by Doug Demuro' option, which adds $1,000 to the sticker price.
  • @alecmoore
Hey Doug, would you consider doing a discussion video on the top 10 most beautiful cars in your opinion? Or a discussion about what makes a car beautiful? I think that would be really interesting!
  • @JerryDLTN
Doug, can you line up each model of McLarens to show how they're different from each other? Can you interview the people who design McLarens and have them explain how they design the next McLaren to be different than the previous models?
  • I like that it seems very bright in the car when your driving. Some of the other super cars you’ve driven have had such small windows that it feels so dark in there
  • Every time I see a "new" McLaren, it seems like something I saw 10 years ago already.
  • McLaren is the type of car that Doug has to check his spreadsheets to see if he's already reviewed this model/edition/serial number.
  • @higurro
It's just odd that people treat them like they're separate models I guess. I mean, if someone had reviewed a 911 Turbo, there would probably be limited interest in also then reviewing the Turbo S and then the Turbo S Cabrio
  • hot take... the fact that they designed the 720 so that it doesnt have side intakes just gave them so much room to play with, that car always looked so clean and striking and beautiful. the small design changes they made for the 765, especially on the front end, wipe away the few visual imperfections the 720 had. looks so sharp and aggressive but still very sleek, like a shark or something. the 765 is one of the most beautiful modern cars imo

If I had a dollar for every time doug reviews a special edition mclaren I would be richer than Jeff Bezos
  • Holy crap the fact that there’s over $150,000 in just options on this car is absolutely crazy to me. That’s almost 4x the price of my last car in just OPTIONS. And mine wasn’t even a cheap car. I’m not one to usually bring up social inequality, but it’s almost disgusting some people are spending $150k on options on some new car while other people can barely make rent or afford dinner. No shade to anyone who’s buying this, it’s just crazy to me

It seems like the only car in existence that Doug hasn’t yet reviewed that I’ve been waiting for since day one is Ferrari F12tdf
  • @Schumi2798
I think Doug should review the Piaggio Ape: for those who don't know what that is, this "thing" is a must of the italian's cuntrysides and it's a 3-wheeled mini-truck (or mini-van "Apevan" or mini-taxi "Calessino" and more...) you drive it with a motorcycle-like handelbar while seating on a car-like seat. Like the Panda and the Piaggio Vespa, it's really diffused!

I think the volcanic orange (or something like that) is the color to have your McLaren in. Very very dark shiny orange, that looks like glowing lava, when the sunlight hits just right. I don't know why I love it on a McLaren so much, because for any other car I'd say: take anything but orange. On a McLaren though, this dark shiny orange looks absolutely fantastic.
  • I think Doug should post the window sticker to the end of the video after the DougScore so we can look at it/determine if the prices of options are worth it. I think this would be cool. Even if it was an older car (and they had the original sticker), I’d love to see it.

I’m not sure what the limit is on this car, but I know on top gear several years ago they had a super car convertible race and one of them was able to do it up to 35mph. Imagine how nasty that would be not just at a stoplight but cruising down a main road and going transformer. It looks very cool on this car.
