John Oliver and his staff should do a quick 5-10 min piece per episode of each season "10 years later" to see what changed in the last 10 years on the subject.

Wow, the shit we used to be worried about almost feels optimistic compared to where we've gone since then.
  • Me binge watching all of season one: “Wow, I really have been here with John Oliver since the beginning.”

The real abomination is the fact this law came back. It's so damn disgusting.

Almost 10 years later... Gaza is still in the shit, Argentina is basically defaulting and the Port Authority stills sucks... Damn, that's crazy

the debut of the multiple opening "welcome" words
  • Why has the “…and now this” segment stopped? Watching old shows showed me how good they were.
  • @kfgelbart
Thank god he finally has his own show! And they dropped the whole first season at once! ❤
  • Strange how the headlines are 10yrs old and over 1/2 are still relevant.

Thank you for releasing the entire first season from a current HBO subscriber! 🧡💛🧡
  • that offhand comment about Gaza being horrible just helps drive home how long relative to personal awareness that Israel's been keeping an entire country as an open air prison while systematically stealing their land and killing their people. What makes it worse is that it's been happening for more than twice this one's life to date
