Amazing how Tim Burton took one of the greatest and most famous twists in cinematic history and turned it into a South Park gag.

Ape police responds faster than human police

I find it funny how its literally the same universe as the humans but all the humans are now apes. Like the enviroment is the same as well as the vehicles.

For those who have watched the movie but are confused with the ending ,heres a simple explanation :
In the beginning ,he thought he traveled to another world where apes rule but he actually traveled to the future earth after a nuclear war.
At the end of the movie ,he thought he was traveling back to earth but instead he traveled ahead into the future once again where apes still rule the planet.
  • The sad part is we will definitely never get a follow up to this, as Tim Burton has gone on the record and said he would rather throw himself out of a window than touch this franchise again
  • All that's missing is Rod Serling saying, "His quest evolved into an unthinkable ending...."

Just wish we would have gotten a sequel to this cause this truly left us with a weird cliffhanger right there and it makes me wonder what happened to Leo afterwards.

This deserved a sequel. One of the greatest unsolved cliffhangers of all time.

Mark didn’t need to say one word in this moment. His face just said it all. Utter confusion, shock and fear.

They could still do an 1800s prequel to this timeline starring Ape Lincoln and John Wilkes Babooth 🙈
  • The most frustrating thing about this ending is that we’ll never find out how or why this happened!

3:18 That young Gorilla with the camera makes me laugh 😂😂😂
  • We were robbed that we didn't get a proper sequel to this.

“Okay, so how do we take one of the most chilling endings in cinema history and make it stupid?” ~ Tim Burton, 2000
