ATTENTION PC USERS: after hours of failing, i completed it first try using a different strategy.after diving through the first two rings, i pulled up for about half a second, then dove the remainder of the fall.this initiates the pull up further forward and with less force,allowing you to easily coast through the tunnel

For people struggling with this mission i recommend as you start your dive and pass through the third ring release the dive button and you should automaticly glide through the tunnel, after that point all you need to do is lift up a little then as you make it midway through the tunnel pull down a little and you should reach the last ring. hope this helps.

Finally lining it up right and sailing through the tunnel knowing I got it after an absurd amount of failed attempts was the highlight of my week!

nope! i dont know how some of the people did it, i guess it was luck, but this is impossible. i tried it like a 100 times using all the tips i could find. when he goes through the tunnel, he either lands (if you just glide) or goes straight up into the ceiling (if you press up just a little bit) every time.

how on earth are you stopping batman from climbing up after the dive and going straight ?? Every time I do this I am hitting the wooden teeth of the clown face because after the dive he ALWAYS goes upwards instead of straight.

I did this on PC with about 5 tries. Same tactics applies as for Advanced AR Training 3, i.e. dive (Ctrl) and after you stop diving by releasing Ctrl *immediately* tap Ctrl again to stop the normal pop-up maneuver allowing you to coast along the corridor same way as seen in vid above. If you press Ctrl too long you start a new dive maneuver and crash to ground. I had to try it twice to succeed (first time hit a pipe in corridor ceiling), but it can be done relatively easily. So don't give up :)

I know the idea here is to pull up lightly as to maintain maximum control over your rise after dive bombing, but I swear to god there have been a few times where Batman has physically warped back to a wall or ceiling after gliding flawlessly into the tunnel, resulting in a failure. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a collision error or is there just a perfect set path you need to follow?

In order to prevent the "climbing" effect after the 4th ring look horizontally all the time during the dive, do not look down. I know it feels natural to look down, but just don't do it. That means you're diving blindly, but it should be still easy to hit the first four rings. I was really struggling with this mission too, but once I learned this trick it was a piece of cake.

FInally got it! Thanks to those who said to release the dive button before getting to tunnel. After diving thru last ring I counted to one, then released the dive button. Gave a flick of the control stick down to level me out and it worked. Just gotta time when to release the dive button and pull up slightly.

One more thing, its actually the left joy stick that you are supposed to pull after releasing the dive bomb if using the ps3 controller. But everything else that X3z3r3z said in his tips is correct and very helpful; there is no way I could have figure it out without them. Even though this advanced training was very hard, it is no where even near as hard as the mission in driv3r called the chase for the ps2. It didn,t even take me a week to do the advanced ar, took me months for driv3r mission.

I did it in pc by diving normally then after the third ring, release the dive and quickly tapped to dive again. The point is just to enter the tunnel, than just hold and look horizontally. Dont flinch, batman will bump his head on the ceiling but wont jitter. Than straight ahead to the ring.

I think I did, too! Finally cracked it tonight. PROTIP: ONCE YOU LEFT-STICK UP TO FLY INTO THE TUNNEL, DO NOT THEREAFTER TOUCH THE LEFT STICK AT ALL. LINE 'ER UP DEAD STRAIGHT IN THE DIVE AND JUST LET BATMAN FLY HIMSELF DOWN THAT TUNNEL. TAP *VERY* LIGHTLY ON THE L STICK TO CORRECT DRIFT. That's the key, folks. And all you get is a trophy of the Batwing? I felt such an achievement gained after such struggle warranted something like...I dunno, gold coins coming out of the PS3's disc slot. :)
