Super helpful - I have one of these locks, and needed to change the code but lost the cardboard instructions that tell you how to do it. Understanding how it works, and the "likely" mechanism for changing the code, allowed me to do it first time!

Theoretically you could unlock this with a lighter. Just heat it enough for the plastic to soften and let the bar move, or the springs fail.
