  • Undead type could be represented by ghost type mabye ghost normal type since it’s something that’s spooky but it also has a physical body
  • @ScrubsWasTaken
i think the rubber type is the most interesting out of all of these
  • @repkar5828
I think trubbish and grimer, and galarian weezing would fit perfectly with the nuclear type.

Wouldn't the Fission type also be supereffective against Fairy types. Since it is based on nuclear power and corrosion, I think Fairy type pokémon wouldn't handle that really well. In the sense of science gone wrong against magic and nature.

I've come up with lots of new types ever since the fairy type was introduced and my 5 favorites are: - The food type - The sleep type - The space type - The light type - The bomb type
  • Don't Forget about Genesect too, That could also be a Digital type too considering it uses disc drives to change the typing of it's signature move, hence being Techno Blast.
  • Personally, I would like to see a Sound type one day. The foundation's already there. Strengths: Rock, Steel, Ground(sound travels best through solid objects), Ice(similar to glass + avalanches) and Psychic(startle + hard to concentrate with noise) Weaknesses: Water(under water, no one can hear your scream), Fairy(can use some magic to stop sound), and Dragon(Dragons can create louder sounds + are powerful beasts of legend) Resistances: It resists- Flying(air can carry sounds + birds can be deterred with sounds) and Sound(just more noise) It is resisted by- Dragon(aforementioned), Water(aforementioned), Fighting(fighters can ignore distractions)
  • I think there are enough types. There is 18 total already in the game to the present date. I enjoy the video because Dobbs explained the types he wanted in detail.

I think the "Fairy type" counts as the "magic type". Also, Digimon cover the "digital type", which is probably why Nintendo is shying away from such a type in Pokemon games. It could happen, but I doubt it will. However, I think a "Plastic type" would be plausible. Trubbish, Garbordor, the Porygon line, Voltorb and Electrode would qualify. Maybe a "Glass" or "Crystal type", too. Bergmite, Avalugg, Diancie, Carbink, Mega SableEye... Maybe!
  • I think a typing that I thought about could be quite unique in a way The Glass Type
  • I think rotom would work for the digital type as it has the powers to literally control a tv (shown in the anime and where u catch it in dppbdsp), dishwasher/washer, fridge, lawnmower, oven/stove, and a fan.

    1) Wood type would be weak to fighting, because people who knows martial arts can easily break wood planks. 2) Rubber type would actually be an excellent type to see in pokémon, not to mention that electric type desperately needs another weaknes. 3) Most of these types are too close to other existing types and would be redundant. 4) The only obvious number 1 spot would be a sound type: There are loads of pokémon based on sound, there are a few sound based abilities, and a huge variety of moves based on sound. It makes perfect sense.

I'd love to see the magic and sound type be brought to life in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet 😁🙏
  • @DTpkmn
Wood should be weak to electric too due to when lightning strikes a tree
  • @BLUPotatoSpy
"Can we please get a gargoyle pokemon" Gligar and gliscor
  • @Treeckoboi1
The FIGHTING/Type should be strong against the WOOD/Type for the same reason why the FIGHTING/Type is strong against The ROCK/type, the STEEL/type, and the ICE/type
  • @KrispyRodent
A Made a ground/light type fakemon, its a snake like pokemon with an angler on its head. It hides in sand at night while letting it’s light glow, when prey approaches it, it lunges at its prey!
  • I disgree about some of the type matchups for the undead type. Namely Fighting and Ice. I think the Undead type would be super effective against fighting because it would be INSANELY dumb to try and strike a zombie with punches and kicks since that leaves you VERY open to being bitten by them. I'd also flip their resistance to Ice into a weakness to it. Because while there are examples of Ice resistant zombies in series like GoT, if you think about it logically, it doesn't make sense. A zombie is essentially dead meat, but with some mobility and a contagious bite. And what happens to meat when exposed to extreme cold? It freezes solid. So I think that an Undead type should be either weak to the Ice type, or should be much more susceptible to the Frozen status condition. Also, I would include Cubone and Marowak with the undead types thanks to them wearing skulls, as well as create a new pure Undead type evolution for Marowak. Edit: I think I would also want to add the rubber type to both Wailmer and Wailord. 2nd edit: I love the idea of the digital type, and what I would want to see from it is for Misingno become a canon Pokemon. Make it part ghost or something to explain it's more or less formless appearance, and even make it's appearance in Gen One canon by giving it a nod in it's Pokédex entry like "It's hypothesized to have come from some sort of digital world because there have been sightings of it in old video games long before it's discovery. I would also make Genesect a Bug/Digital type, with the items that change it's type altering it's Bug type t the corresponding item's while it keeps the Digital type at all times.
