  • Ok...who knew this crazy fact about internal stitches?? Am I the only one who was mind blown? 💥

I’m at 8 weeks now. Had to go back to work at 4 weeks. I do my 10000 steps at my shop so taking it easy wasn’t an option for me. I bought a belly band which helped a lot and at the 7 weeks mark I was back on my roller skates. So happy it’s done and spring is here now in Australia. My 50th year is a year I won’t forget

Sorry you had such a slow recovery.. I was doing laundry 3 days after my hysterectomy. I am 72 I was told to eat very high protein diet a week before my surgery, I also wore my Life Wave patches 3 days after surgery. Snd God touched me week 5 and I received all my strength back.

I cannot express how much your hysterectomy videos (and I’ve watched them all) have helped me and brought be comfort. I’m 9 days post op and have been miserable. But after watching all your videos have brought me so much hope. You’ll never know how grateful I truly am for you for sharing your experience with us. Thank you!

I’m so glad I found your videos. You did such a nice job on the hysterectomy series. I’m one week from my surgery and your videos gave me so much info on being prepared and post surgery info helps. Thank you for your time and love in sharing your story! Prayers for your continued success in healing!

I hope that you feel better as your healing is continuing. 🙏🏽❤️
  • G'morning! Newbie here, post-op day 3. I had a Total Lap Hysterectomy, I still have my ovaries. My current battle is the gas used for my surgery and the pain of getting rid of it. Gas X and stool softeners are my new best friends. And riding in a car is absolutely awful as you mentioned. This video has helped to make me feel not alone. Thank you!!
  • @rrt401
This was an extremely comforting video. I’m 4 weeks post op and you touched on a lot of the same things I’m feeling. Thank you.
  • I had a total hysterectomy, everything removed, with a vertical 7.5 inch cut almost 2 years ago. My vertical incision was all internal stitches. When I was watching your video, I thought to myself "oh yeah, it's going to be months before they dissolve". :-) I hear you about jeans. For me, it was probably a good 3 months before jeans were comfortable for me. Like you, every week got a little bit better. I read where having a hysterectomy with having everything removed can take up to a year to heal completely. I'll be 2 years post op this May and feel great. Glad you are on the road to getting back to normal. 🙂

Congratulations, Renee. You have followed your doctors instructions and taken care of yourself during this recovery period and now it is showing how wonderful you have recovered. Internal stitches still there, yeah - my mind was also blown. I love the amount of information your doctors shared and how wonderful they were. Enjoy getting back your normal life💖

Thank you for sharing your hysterectomy story here on YOUTUBE. After years of being in pain, and several invasive pelvic ultrasounds. My doctor had recommended The Da Vinci procedure. I am 39 with (Several Uterine Fibroids, ovarian cysts) . I am a motherless daughter, so I turned to YouTube for advice, planning and help! Thank you for sharing your journey! It is helping me prepare for mine! Lots of love! 💕
