It was really interesting, how sound does actually help both in recognizing a game and in helping with the gameplay and atmosphere itself... It's not really something players usually pay attention while playing the games.

Minecraft: Good game in concept and design. Near revolutionary for Gaming Community. Level of customizability Great staff that talks to the fans constantly and keeps them updated on progress in the game. Minecraft: A shit load of people hate it because a game for ALL ages just felt the "Need" to attract little kids.

I am actually one of those legally blind people who enjoy playing overwatch. Although i am also colour blind, the red cones in my eyes do not work and non of the current colour blind settings really work, but that is kind of to be expected there are far to many types of colour blindness to account for them all. This was an excellent video and for me sound design is extremely important in games because it gives me so much more information. Games like halo, overwatch, and destiny have so many small sounds that carry so much meaning, whether it is hearing a person's footsteps and knowing where they are in relation to you, or hearing when a boss enemy is about to use a certain kind of attack due to a small charge up sound. Many of my friends dont seem to hear these small sounds but i most certainly do and greatly appreciate them and all the work that sound designers put into making them.
