As a coach, I've learned that the kids I work with (college age) sometimes have paralysis by analysis. I try to only focus on one or two things at a time often times through the course of a practice, week, or cycle. Work on that one thing and keep your focus on that, not on EVERYTHING. We can't process that much information. Once things start coming together in practice, we try to move to competition and have the focus of trying to bring those "new" concepts into a competitive environment. If we can do that successfully, we'll try to build on that foundation.

Great advice, Bunky! I have the same problem myself, where I overanalyze my form. Thankfully I've managed to come through to the other side of that, and I feel like I have a lock on my problems, and working on solutions. It can be beneficial for some people to overanalyze for awhile, but eventually we need to prioritize and hone in on the most important things to focus on. Also, I think finding a local coach would be great if you have a sticking point, and you can get them to agree to help you with it beforehand. Or at least give them guidance on the problems you think you have, to pinpoint their teachings for you. I had a couple local coaches I went with, who didn't understand my specific problems (and to be fair, I didn't either) so they gave some general advice that looked like I was doing to some extent, but in slomo the problems I had were still there.

People need to use video to improve at the fastest rate possible. Because more than 95% of players have absolutely no idea what they look like when they are throwing. And they are horrified when they see themselves on video. Especially 240+fps slowmo. Working with video over an extended time allows a player to properly understand what they look like when they make changes, without having to video themselves again. In other words, video connects a person to their actual movements, rather than the ones they think they are making.
