In retrospect, Shaggy and Scooby are actually the bravest of the group. Instead of taking on the threat themselves, the rest of the gang always pawn it off on them and they still get the job done.

I love how the guy ghost with an axe is just standing there while they're discussing this for a good two minutes.

Honestly, something about the Scooby Doo Crew just encountering a legitimate murderer is just so funny to me. Like they’ve encountered a bunch of pretend poltergeists, untruthful undead, and malfunctioning machines. The concept of them finally being faced with something actually trying to hurt them is just humorous.

I like how Fred still tries to split up the gang and look for more clues about the Dude with an Axe, despite the fact that he's standing right in front of them and could just apprehend him so they can unmask him. xD

I like how a guy is holding an axe in full view of a sheriff, and the sheriff does absolutely nothing, all because of a sheet.

The fact that Daphne's voice is literally the Spanish text-to-speach bot is what basically killed me. The dude with the axe merely finished the job.

I love how shaggy straight up tries to explain to every one why the dude holding an axe is trying to kill them instead of scaring them.

I love the fact that it's right in front of them, and they are already refering to him as a guy dressing up as a ghost, yet Fred wants to split up and look for clues.
