Its almost ironic that drive club (2014) locks more like a ps5 game than gt7 (2022)

Detail in general is just really good in Driveclub. 0:55 the wind goes to the east so you see the rain go to the right, the trees to the right, the grass moves to the right. It just paints a nice picture even though it's just a clip of the car sitting there. And even though texture quality has obviously gotten better in some of the newer racing games I still look at their road and like it the most because of how they choose to make it wet in specific places instead of reflections everywhere. Imagine a Driveclub 2 releasing today with 60 fps and ray tracing as a PS5 exclusive. We already know that game will blow every racing game out of the water.

Driveclub still slays. Evolution Studios did some black magic. It never even got a PS4 Pro patch. What you see is base 2013 PS4. Dayum!

No one has managed to create such a realistic speed effect as in the Drive Club. Yes, and the graphics are still great.

Driveclube is still the best looking racing game ever. Forza Horizion 5 also looks great considering it is an open world game!

GT7's lighting is super realistic, forza 5 is a beautiful looking game, grid is fine i guess (better at rain effects than the former two), but Driveclub is clearly the master of rain effects in every aspect

driveclub is scary to this day, it hasn't been surpassed by any other game in terms of beauty and level of detail, it's a shame it was abandoned
