Forza Motorsport is an upcoming sim racing video game developed by Turn 10 Studios and published by Xbox Game Studios.[6] It will be the thirteenth main installment in the Forza series and it will be released on Windows and Xbox Series X/S.[7] Although it is the eighth Forza Motorsport title, succeeding Forza Motorsport 7, it will be a reboot for the titular sub-series, dropping the sequential numbering from past entries' titles. It will use the new Xbox Series X and Series S consoles to render higher definition graphics than its predecessors.[8][4] Forza Motorsport is scheduled to be released on October 10, 2023 and a Early Access only release on the 5th of October

At this point, I don’t think any racing game would ever beat Driveclub in rainy weather conditions.

Drive Club has reflections of every opponent and the world around them on the ground and the body of the player's car, it has reflections on the windshield and maybe even self reflection of things like mirrors, and all without ever mentioning the words Ray or Tracing... 10 years ago.

I don't know a lot about game design but the technology used in Driveclub's rain effects are insanely ahead of it's time. The rain droplets on the windshield are not just a texture map overlay but it's actually a real-time motion based particle effect simulating how rain drops react with a car windshield realistically.

Considering that Driveclub is almost 10 years old, I'd say it looks really really good... and it had self reflecting on PS4 without DXR...

Yeah driveclub was amazing. I'm sure they pulled the plug because it was a serious contender on taking on gran turismo with that gfx engine

In Graphics Forza is much better but in terms of effects and details Driveclub is insane: shadows, rain, they even put working painel lights.
