New PhotoDirector! Remove background using PhotoDirector & easily add different backgrounds

In this PhotoDirector video tutorial, I demonstrate how to remove the background from an image & then how to save the image with a transparent background so that you can use the cut out image with any background.
I am using PhotoDirector 10 for this tutorial, but this can be achieved in PhotoDirector 7, PhotoDirector 8, and PhotoDirector 9.

Complete new-be here (learning basic graphics like Layers) and I'm thankful that my Photo Director 9 search led me to your channel... (sub-ed) 😊 I have barely scratched the surface of what Photo Director 9 is capable of (got it mainly to edit/export from my first ever raw files)... I watched this Photo Director 10 video first only because it's newer than your PD-9 Replace Background video but I'm for sure going there next 👍

I often get requests to include a deceased family member in a family photo in remembrance of that person. I have been using other methods using a mix of applications to achieve this result but this is much better using a single application. I added a 90 year old grandmother who had deceased a year ago into a family gathering picture for the whole family using the method described in this video. I am currently using Photo Director 365.

The pixels on her shoulder you missed in the mask cutout is driving me crazy. Show how to patch that with the stamp editor or whatever.

Where can I go to get definitions of terms in the program. For example, I’m completely baffled why that one blending mode, is called Multiply. Makes no sense to me. I’d happily read what each blending mode does if there was a manual for it.

Please can somebody tell if there is anybody left at cyberlink photodirector who can fix a problem with the program PDU that I brought from them just under two weeks ago. The program worked for two days fine then stopped working.? I'm on the email generated ticketed list to get a response but that was 8 hours ago. HELP
