Rhett is absolutely right about fountains not being calibrated. There are measurement devices which allow you to adjust the syrup to water ratio.

When fountain drinks are good they’re incredible but I think can is the most consistent and good testing over all

they do “dink it & sink it” for foods why don’t they do “clink it & drink it” for drinks?

City water can also make a HUGE difference in the flavor of a fountain drink.
