This is the story of how I lost my appendix! It was a random evening where I had appendicitis and how I was rushed to hospital to have it surgically removed.

  • Who else is looking at vids like these because they think they have appendicitis
  • @Truthavision
Just had surgery for acute appendicitis. It’s brutal. They gave me fetanyl, morphine, diladud, oxycodone, etc. I still felt extreme pain for the entire 14 hours they had me wait. Been laying in bed for two weeks and finally feeling better. Back to work tomorrow with 3 holes in my belly.
  • I just had my appendix out yesterday. And your story sounds almost identical to mine. I'm home now resting.

My recovery has been like 10x more difficult than my time in the hospital post op.

this is actually really helpful. you explained the signs and symptoms which makes it so much easier to understand how the process of appendix goes

I ‘ve been through same exact situation. The way you describe it word for word is exactly what happened to me! It’s been a week since my surgery and i’m still recovering.
  • Wow man, this helped me so much... I'm in an Italian hospital right now going through this .. I'm 2 days in, and i had a very similar appendicitis to you, just slightly ruptured.. and I've been trying to get someone to explain to me what's going on with my body, and nobody here will... Your video had made me feel so much better.. thank you so much for this content... (And as you know, being able to relax and stay calm is huge for this recovery!) un abbraccio, grazie !!

I got my appendix removed in 2017, it had ruptured due to the doctor claiming I was exaggerating, I spent 16 hours with no pain medication waiting; the next morning a surgeon came in, barely looked at me, and told the nurses to prepare me for surgery. After the surgery it took me 10 days in the hospital and a few checkups in the local clinic to get the stitches out. I’m fine and healthy today, I think, and wish a fast and healthy recovery to all of you.

This was a great video. I love the way you told it and showed yourself in the hospital. Hope you are 100% better now!!! Sheila
  • I'm getting mine out this week and will be glad when it's over. Thanks for making me smile. If anyone is ever experiencing pain in stomach or right side, go to your Dr. right away. Some people even have pain in their back according to where the Appendix is located.
  • I just had surgery for appendicitis and trust me you won’t feel anything during surgery and recovery is not painful at all. What hurts the most is before you know that you have it because you become very flushed.
  • As someone who had appendicitis and went through the whole process, this was no joke one of the hardest parts of my life and I certainly won’t miss it whatsoever

Thank you for your great video! I’ve been having pain in the same area you pointed out in your video and my doctor ordered an emergency CAT scan. I’m actually headed for the procedure now. Your video gave me a lot of insight and I appreciate you taking the time to create something like this for us other people who are unfamiliar.

My 3 year old cousin is about to go into surgery cuz of her appendix. It is so sad that this is happening to her at such a young age. Pray she'll be ok ❤️
  • Nice job documenting your experience. My story is very similar. Glad you have recovered and thank you for sharing
  • I feel for you bro I had the same surgery and the pain was really excruciating. Well done to you for staying strong and good luck for the future with your health.
  • I am here 3days after my surgery and I just felt like you were telling my story, 90% of the time.. and now just battling with shoulder pain and gases moving all over inside me 🥺

I love this your story, I recently had an appendectomy and I can say the recovery after the operation is the most difficult part. I could not even pass stool up to 48hrs after the operation until when the nurses stuck 2 white pills up my ass before I could comfortably stool. I couldn't even laugh without feeling pain around the incision areas. I thank God I have fully recovered now.

I must say thank you. This is the most meticulously descriptive process of appendicitis procedure.. I know now what I’m looking at.. thanks
  • OMG, I was released from the hospital TODAY, you describe the experience, exactly, spot on. Except I'm 47 years old and over weight. With all this COV-19 craziness, only URGENT operations were being performed and yes, I required one. It was no picnic for sure but I am glad I was FORCED to do it. I am feeling better by the hour. My dear mother gave me some SENNA tea and it helped the constipation.
