Cicret Bracelet DEBUNK

2021 update: All of their websites are down and the CEO shown in the video now works for some other company completely unrelated to the bracelet. I have a feeling this isn't coming out, guys!

A few years ago my sister's friend was touting Cicret on Facebook and I got into an argument with her about it. No matter how many articles or videos I linked, she refused to believe it's fake. She would just keep insisting that I need to do my 'research' and she mocked me for not being smart enough to understand. This is how they got so many donations. It's because of people like her.

Around 2019 the product's website has disappeared and the tweets and facebook posts regarding this product were removed. On their twitter they added one post - this video. On their facebook they added two posts- this video and the Captain Disillusion update. Yup, the company ran away with the money, but not before giving everybody the middle finger.

Don't give up Captain, what you do is entertainingly educational. I am 57 years old with an associate's in computer electronics 1988. I never worked in the field except as a computer operater "monkey" back in the 90's. What you provide is enlightening to/for me as you know technology has accelerated and continues. A class action lawsuit against the Cicret Bracelet team would be poetic justice. I hate the fact that CD spent $250 and still hasn't received anything.

You know what fallout taught me? It’s that having a phone strapped to your arm kinda sucks. Why? Because you can’t use your other hand to interact with the screen. So things like typing is way slower. And trying to play games that were designed for two handed operation just doesn’t work.

The only incorrect thing Captain D has ever said is in this video. "You see, reputable crowdfunding platforms like Patreon, Kickstarter, and IndieGoGo, protect donors by requiring creators to meet their own benchmarks and deliver rewards in a timely fashion." I know of a certain air-repelling based umbrella and several other kickstarters that disprove that statement. Sorry D.
